Sedirli Ev: Best hotel/B&B stay in Turkey
I can’t say enough about Sedirli Ev. Zeynep, who is the owner, invites you into her home and life and is the most welcoming host you can imagine and takes care of your every need. The property is lovely, extremely well maintained and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. It is on the edge of town and you might be surprised on first arrival, but once you are there you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We went in early June and the crowds don’t arrive until mi d -June to August when Turkish school is out. I understand that during the high season the town can get lively and is probably loud as well. Being out of the center of town is probably a blessing at those periods yet it is only a 5 minute easy walk to the center.
Our first night we were tired and decided to stay in and have Zeynep cook for us. It turned our she had other friends staying at the inn and we were invited to join them in what turned out to be fun and lively evening. On our departure day we had a very early flight out and Zeynep was not only up to see us off but had actually gotten up around 3:30 am to ma k e a nice breakfast for our long journey. Leaving was like saying goodbye to an old friend and I can’t think of too many hotel/B&B experiences where you get that feeling.
One note for non-Turkish guests, Because most guests in Alacati are Turkish when Ramadan starts (August 11th to Sept 11th this year) the town will be quiet but the beaches (which are gorgeous) will be all yours. The public beach at Alacati (Ilica) is spectacular and clean and you can walk out about 200-300 yards before the water gets over your wa i st.
We wish there were more than 5 stars to rate Sedirli Ev but we will have to live with the 5 offered.

Su'dan Palas: Best Rooms and Best Breakfast
Both Su'dan Cafe and Su'dan Palas are located in the old town but away from tourist attractions and noisy crowds.
We've been regulars at their seafood restaurant, so it was not surprising to see how characterful, spacious and different their hotel turned out to be.
My favorites from the breakfast were homemade SrawberryJam with Champagne and Basil and detoxifying Beetroot/Ginger juice
Unique Quality: High Ceilings, huge bathtub and vintage bed in the garden

Tur58 Otel Alacati: Alacati's New Hotel with excellent services
I have lived in Alacati nearly two years. When I was living there, there was only a few hotels. Alacati wasn't a known place like now. Only windsurfers was coming from all around the world. It's been almost eight years since then. And I had a chance to see all coming improvements like hotels, restaurants etc. My last favorite is Tur58 Otel. I have several reasons for choosing Tur58. First of all, really clean, well groomed, has its own swimming pool so that you can get fresh quickly:) Hotel gives you a chance to sit nearby of swimming pool, and also some rooms have wood dock which is between rooms and pool so that you can open your room's front door and get in pool :) Hotel owners, managers and workers really kind and professional. Breakfast is so excellent that I want to have any time even at night. Also hotel is located on the surf way so if you don't have a car, you can use minibus and get the stations within five minutes. If you want to go to the center of Alacati,
it's only 6-7 min walking distance from the hotel. I recommend you to check out the website for further information.

One of the more unusual and unique hotels in Turkey, which can be dated for sure, back to 1850.
A few minutes from the centre of town.
If you hadn't guessed, Degirmen means windmill.
Sorry but the web page is only in Turkish.
