I am looking to rent a villa for May or June 2006, with view of the sea and pool.
a typical cesme house has a very big garden but there is no pool. But there are of course some houses, sharing the same pool with their neighbours. you must pay at least 10,000-15,000 YTL without the sea wiew. Houses by the seaside without a pool are about 5,000-10,000 YTL. It doesnt matter how long you stay, they are all for the whole season. We used to rent a summerhouse every summer in cesme but we will prefer an apart hotel this summer.

Bargaining is a must in Turkey.
I would advise that you do practice this (sport). You never know.
You can bargain on jewells, carpets, leather bags and coats, even in smaller shops.
I have heard that the owners of such shops expect you to bargain, so the price you hear can at lest go down to 35 even 40%.

Curiosity made us drive more than 100 km of up and running highway in a torid weather to see Cesme. And our expectation was met, too bad that we hadn't much time to wonder arround and had to get back to our base in Kusadasi. I recommend staying in the sunny Cesme.
