Cesme Restaurants

Could anyone tell me if they know of any nice restaurants in Cesme please. We are a party of 18 persons and want nice quality surroundings. is there anything new we should know about?

Seafood places in Dalyan are good. I think I posted one in my Cesme page. You can try Aya Yorgi since there are some places there that looks like they could be good for food too but I have been there mainly for the beach clubs and nightlife. In Cesme town, there are some restaurants by the water on the left hand side (as opposed to where the castle is) and they looked fairly normal VS 'fine dining' place. The Sheraton on Ilica Beach has a couple of restaurants. There are also some new places along the water in Ilica town, one restaurant looks good and is on a terrace with bouganvillea flowers. I forgot its name but it is near No. 5 which is a good place for Italian coffee.

Thanks Alikatt for your reply. i have heard about a new restaurant in Cesme called The Venue. Apparently it has only opened this year but i have seen the reviews on the website www.cesmeholiday.com and wondered if you had been there. The photos and reviews are great. i think we will try that. i am looking for restaurants in cesme if you know of any others

An old carte postale of Cesme. Now the sea infront of the castle is filled with earth to gain place. On this place there is a lovly and very cheap café of the Municipality called Belediye Cay Bahcesi where you can drink Beer, tea and smoke the nargileh. I advice you to eat ice cream with mastic. Mastic is produced from a special tree only grows in Cesme.
The other speciality of Cesme is a kind of hamburger called Kumru which is very delicious and costs between 1.50 to 3.-YTL.
At quai retaurants a porsion of fish with salat is 15.-YTL.
