Visit Kaddifekale ('The Velvet Castle'), built by Alexander the Great. It has a tremendous view of the city. Also, try to get to the fire tower above the Evka I neighborhood of the Buca district; it provides another great lookout point. Favorite restaurant: Sini Ocakbasi on Cevik Bir Meydani in Buca.Warm, wonderful people. I miss my friends and neighbors from Buca.
