I first travelled to Selcuk 12 years ago!
ANZ Guesthouse is a lovely place with great rooms with private ensuites and AC if wanted. There is a lovely courtyard with flowers and trees giving shade. Upstairs on the roof top is a carpeted lounge area where people relax .
Breakfast is included and I highly recommend the House special! Homemade yohgurt topped with museli and fresh fruit! A great way to start the day!
Unique Quality: Probably one of the best views of the temple of Artemis can be found from their roof top terrace bar. Fresh cooked meals are enjoyed while the sun sets into the Aegean.
The staff is friendly and always helpfull.
Free lift to Ephesus and the beach are provided plus the owners have great travel information on the area.
For the perfect way to see Ephesus and Selcuk visit ANZ!
Directions: 2nd street behind the museum
Easy 5 min walk
This place was worth every penny we paid for it. It wasn't expensive either, within our budget and was great food. Breakfast is included and they offer the chance for a great cheap dinner too. It was clean and fun and super welcoming and friendly. They even picked us up at the port in Kusadasi. They also help you find good tour people (which we didn't make use of) and bus ticket assistance (which we did make use of). Great experience and I'd go back in a heartbeat. They'll give you a lift to Ephesus and even arrange transport to Pammekale.
I got here at the end of the season so this place was pretty quiet. There was a nice area for relaxing outside, as well as another common room inside. The beds were good but the showers for the dorms required climbing two flights of stairs. The location is only a few minutes from the bus station, up a small but steep hill. They provide free lifts to Ephesus but not back. I took advantage of their free bike hire instead to get there and back.
