COP SHISH / SH|SH KEBAP
by denizkizi
This delicious local speciality "cop sis" are small pieces of meat skewered on a stick so they're super-fast to cook, and you're charged by the number of little sticks you use. This is served at one of the many modest restaurants whose tables spread across the pavements and which like the shops offer service virtually 24 hours a day.
Mohammed and fashion-show
by Kuznetsov_Sergey
I want to tell a few words about our guide Mohammed here. First of all we were surprised with his perfect Russian! Sometimes when I didn’t see him and only listened to his talking I thought he was almost Russian with very slight Caucasian accent…
The second – he knew the subject of this tour “By paths of Ancient Civilizations” rather well and we were very grateful to him for his professionalism.
The third – he was very artistic and felt at ease at every moment with us: during excursions, at the restaurant in dancing and in the Populer Leather Market as a fashion-show man!
May be he will see these my pages one day and I want to tell him thanks and wish all the best in his difficult but very interesting work!

The dolls' heights are about 30 and not one detail is missed! They all are maid by Ayhan Çetin, retired teacher who own the museum, and his wife. Must see number one! From Selcuk, take minibus to Kusadasi and get out 300 meter after the road turns to Kusadasi. You'll the the billboard saying "Maket Koy"
explore the town
by guell
Try to get an early start and walk around town right as the sun is rising. Feel the town come alive as the streets fill with people driving to work on their tractors. Just wander around and explore. You will discover things you would never expect to see, like these buildings built between the arches of an ancient aqueduct.

Another good trip on a different Turkish Coach line.
Cost in 2009 was 25 t/l
