a very comfortable stay !!!
We arrived in Selcuk and after a phone call found the AKAY Hotel located steps away from the Isa Bey Mosque and The Basilica of Saint John.
We stayed in a wonderful large room ( new section of the hotel ) with nice DBL bed for us and a second room for the kids with 3 beds. The rooms where excellent and very clean with a small bathroom and shower stall. They had A/C, TV's and hair dryers. The most important the rooms were warm and cozy with hot showers.
Breakfast was great and the friendly staff were very helpful in answering all our questions about the local area and Ephesus.
I would love to go back and spend more time in this area. We stayed for one night but it was unforgetable !!!
Unique Quality: This small historical hotel has a beautiful courtyard with a small pool. Just down the stairs on the lower section they had a perfect ottoman room set up with lots of antiques and even a nargile. Very romantic and a warm atmosphere. Nice views of the Isa Bey Mosque.
