The Friendliest Staff

This hotel has some hostel-style rooms, as well as rooms with only one double bed. Our room was small and clean, with a television, a balcony that looked out onto a neighboring building, and an in-suite bathroom. The shower isn't really a shower - just a spigot coming out of the wall over toilet, but it does the job. Our room had a small table and two chairs, and an air conditioner/heating unit in the wall. It was cozy enough for the price.

The owners of the hotel, an Australian woman and her Turkish husband, are incredibly nice and will make sure you are well taken care of. We chatted with them several times, and you will see them hanging around in the lobby area where there are computers, television and couches for the guests.

Use of the computer was only a few cents, and you may be served complimentary tea while you send emails home. They do offer meals there, the breakfast is good enough but I'd suggest having dinner elsewhere as their dinners aren't that great and they're a bit expensive.

The hotel does offer tours. We used them to book tours to Ephesus, the Virgin Mary House and the Seven Sleepers. They have multiple tours to choose from for what appeared to be average prices.

The location is perfect - only a few minutes away from the bus station. Saturdays is Selcuk's market day and when you step outside from the hotel you will be right in the middle of the market. If you decide to visit Selcuk, definitely plan to be there on a Saturday. The market is an experience not to be missed.
