 | Dedeman Konya And Convention Center: A Large and Fancy Hotel in Konya

The Dedeman is Konya's largest hotel and one of its most upscale. We stayed there as part of a weekend package tour of Konya that we did while we were in Turkey. The Dedeman had a lot of amenties, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a large health club, multiple restaurants, shops, meeting rooms, and a nice lobby. It reminded us of a Westin or a Hilton in the US, and would be a good hotel for business travelers.
The rooms were large and modern, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We had cable TV with plenty of channels, including English-language news channels.
There staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't use the concierge, since we were on a package tour, but the people at the check in desk were very user-friendly.
We only ate at the Dedeman for breakfast, which was included in our package and was a positive experience. The breakfast buffet had a large assortment of Western and Turkish items, both hot and cold.
One thing that we noticed was that the Dedeman is very popular for weddings. During the weekend that we were there, there were at least four wedding receptions going on at the hotel.
Across the road from the Dedeman is one of the largest shopping centers in Konya, which was very convenient.
