Lets go Crazy and visit Bodrum at night.. In the town center there are hundreds of Pubs and bars, where you can get pissed off.. And you wont regret being there..
In summer nightlife of Istanbul, mostly migrates to Bodrum and many clubs perform special DJ's.. And also Turkish pop stars show up at Bodrum nightlife.. Bordum pubs and bars are the most per area in the Whole Turkiye..
The most popular club of Bodrum is Halikarnas disco.. Just at the end of Bar streets, adjacent to the shore. You cant miss there, it has the loudest music system :).. It was once the biggest open air disco, may be still the biggest on the Aegean and the most trendiest and most stylish club in Bodrum.. Watch for special shows everynight, 'foam Party', Ladies Night' or 'Night of the Dance' and be prepared for the cover charge..
Some other important stops are Hadigari, Yettigari, Fora Bar and Bebek Bar..
Cheap Accommodation
by alancollins
Stayed on the tip of the Bodrum Peninsula at Akyalar. My Turkish son in law arranged for us to stay in a furnished 2 bedroomed house that could sleep 6 for 50 pounds a week. The property was rented from a local family. The views of Kos and the Agean from the balcony were fantastic. The area is known for watersports especially windsurfing. First time I have been in the sea for years it was so warm. We were probably the only British family in the village. Most of the visitors were Germans paying expensive prices to stay at the local hotel.

al fresco lunch, ice cream and sweets
by Alikatt about Divan at Divan Palmira, Turkbuku
The place has huge parasols and nice cushioned chairs. Right by the water, perfect for al fresco dining and people watching. I have had hamburgers, salads, kofte and kebabs there for lunch (not at one time of course) so it is the lunch spot for me. They also offer delectable ice cream flavors. Hambuger is just the way I like it - fresh from the grill, tender and juicy and not overly cooked. I also like their mixed salad with seasoned Turkish meats (again fresh from the grill). Indulged in a few ice cream scoops as well.
Gulet Cruise - Mediterranean
by Scouski
Gulet cruising is an absolute must when you visit Turkey, the beautiful waters of the Med, the relaxing lulling motion of the boat in the water - soaking up the sun while listening to the sound of Dido and Sade on the radio - with lunch and great company you can hardly sniff at this trip for £10 for a full day. I was also lucky enough to sail the boat into two harbours.
