Lovely Apartment Complex

We have used the Dolphin Apartments for many years due to its excellent location, fairly good customer service and simple but clean rooms.
Dolphin is at the top of a hill about 5 minutes walk out of Bodrum town centre on a road with many hotels and apartment complexes, and the walk down into town is an easy to find route that passes some restaurants and a bar or two on the way. The downside is that the hill back to the apartment after you have had a drink or two is a little harder.
There is a selection of one and two bedroom apartments available and the rates are quite reasonable. The rooms are spacious but also very minimalistic in the decoration. They have TV's and a kitchen area with all necessary equipment. There is an inadequte shop on the complex but the Gardenya Apartments next door has a shop with many supplies (WARNING: This shop is fairly expensive and you should use the GIMA or MIGROS supermarkets in the town for your shopping). There is a very nice swimming pool on the site with sun loungers.
The site is on a hill and has many steps so would not be very suitable for anyone who finds that hard, the views are worth the climb however!! There is a super restaurant just outside the apartment, Alp Kaptan, but I have already written a tip on this. The complex is gated and has guards from the early evening through the night to monitor who comes and goes - there is never any trouble here though.
Generally this is a family complex so there is no loud music or rowdy teenagers, it is also far enough out of the town to avoid the noise associated with the clubs and pubs on bar street.
I have always enjoyed my stays here and would recommend it to other VTers.
