Shopping

It's a pleasure to walk in the narrow streets near the castle and harbour. Here you will find many restaurants, bars and gift shops, selling carpets, leather, copper and bronze wares, silver and gold, handicrafts and embroidery.
The cosy alleys are pedestrianized and offer some shade during the hot sommer days.
Never forget sun lotions and sunglasses!
by voyageur2
Bermudas, shorts, T-Shirts etc. Carefuly selected sun lotions and other protective equipment will provide you a comfortable holiday under burning Aegean sun. Both photo and video equipment are very important to save those wonderful moments in Bodrum. local Bodrum Sandals are strongly recommended.
Party in the Middle of the Sea
by Nelson1979 about Night Club Bodrum (Catamaran)
This is one of the coolest experiences you can have in Bodrum. You board this (boat)club before 1 ' o clock and then it departs into the sea. The music is great, very good DJ and sometimes even well known international DJ's. The floor is made of glass so you can see the sea underneath you which is also very nice. Beautiful people go to this club, a lot of tourists but also a lot of Turks come here. The club is a the worlds biggest and only catamaran club with a capacity for 5000 people. If you want to get off board earlier thats also possible since you can take small pendel boats to the coast again. No specifik dresscode, but dress nice so you dont look very different from the rest ;)

Small but perfectly formed
by Lyndra about La Jolla Bistro
La Jolla Bistro is quite a small restaurant on Neyzen Tevfik Caddesi, fairly near to the Marina. It has a very trendy interior and seating outside too if you would prefer. The food is excellent and this is a very popular restaurant - they serve traditional food, Turkish and others and a range of seafood. They also have sushi if you like that sort of thing - I don't!
The restaurant is in a really nice place with great views of the bay and castle (tree blockage permitting) at the front and it is handily placed for visiting other bars after your meal is finished. It is open for lunch too!
Price is very good in the slowly rising market in Bodrum and a meal for two here is a great bargain (about 70YTL not including wine). Salads are filling and tasty
