Clubs for adults

Where do we find exclusive clubs for senior adults?

you won't

Bodrum is a town that caters for all ages but has no specific place as suggested. There are plenty of sophisticated bars and nightclubs that less young people may attend but on the whole everyone in Bodrum mucks in and drinks/eats in the same places. The Marina Yacht Club and other bars along the Marina are a little more glamorous if that is any help.

Travel Tips for Bodrum

Cuisine

by mvtouring

Turkish cuisine has never gotten the attention it deserves as one of the world's finest. One of your here unnamed guides argues it even better than Italian. At the very least, it's breadth and history are impressive. The delicious variety of sweets, salads, fruits, grilled meat dishes, and soups reflect an empire that spanned from Northern Africa, to the Balkans, the Middle East and into Europe as far as Vienna. We will indulge in a variety of delicious and regional specialties, including stuffed peppers and grape leaves, cheese borek, fresh tomatoes and olives, feta cheese, grilled kebabs, rice pilav, figs, sweet baklava, pudding and cakes accompanied by Ephesus beer, a glass of Turkish wine, silted coffee, apple tea and raki -- the national, anise-flavored alcoholic drink that is shaken, not stirred

Bodrum - Gokova - Bodrum

Day 1 : Arrival to Bodrum, settlement in yacht, staying on yacht after dinner.

Day 2 : Arrival to orak island reminds an endless aquarium with sparkling turquoise waters, after a good breakfast on yacht anchored in harbour. After swimming and lunch, arrival to cokertme where cheerful and friendly people live. That has been the place of songs of a nice fishermen village. Dinner and overnight here or in another bay.

Day 3 : You are beginning another wonderful day in Yedi Adalar (seven islands) where coral reefs are. Surfing, diving, swimming, lunch and sleeping… a crazy-lazy day. You will be in Longoz natural harbour for the lunch. We will sail to Karacsogut for the dinner. If you wish you can visit Marmaris by minibus (25min.(extra)) till the dinner time. After dinner, overnight is here.

Day 4 : Weighing anchor early in the morning, arrival to sedir island where the coast and the antique city is in the shape of a horseshoe. Ruins from roman era are in golden beaches where anthonius and cleopatra had a great love. We will have our lunch and dinner in this lovely and fantastic Bay.

Day 5 : Breakfast and departure to paradise bight named english harbour surrounded by rosariums and pine forests. That reminds a lake where english war ships burrowed. Overnight is in Ballisu.

Day 6 : After breakfast, when your yacht is getting closer to another tip of cap we bet your admiration will be increased as you will find yourself in a blanketlike sea and colours festivity. The name of this marvellous natural harbour is Longoz. You can spend the rest of day by swimming as well as you may wish a walk thourgh the pine forest. The most quiet overnight waits for you in Tuzla Bay.

Day7 : After breakfast in Tuzla, arrival to Papuc Bay for the lunch.Arrival to kara island renowned for mud bathes and continue to bodrum harbour. Dinner and staying night at the harbour.

Day 8 : After breakfast, it's time for check-out

by Lalique about KUBA Bar

Is one of the most famous and loud bars in Bodrum. As anywhere else at the seaside you can find a multinational crowd there. As it seemed to me people of a higher than everage standing usually go there :))) it can be hardly called a typical student or back packer place
WARNING: drinks are too b**dy expencive in this place (like for ex. a bottle of beer - about 5 eur) Not any particular dress code, but you bette have something chic on :)))

BODRUM - MARMARIS

by balhannah

My Bus to Marmaris wasn't a large Coach, but a medium size Bus, larger than a Mini Bus. It was comfortable, so had no complaints. At Mugla, I was tranferred into a Dolmus for the rest of my journey to Marmaris.
Buses depart Bodrum at.....................6.30 / 10.30 / 13.30 / 17.30 / 18.30 (summer) / 19.30 / 20.30 (summer)

COST 18 t/l
TIME 3&1/2 hours

Relaxing day sailing on gulet

by Gemsy

A relaxing day out if you love being on a boat for long periods of time. Makes the heat more bearable and you get the best suntan! Stopping off at various beaches and coves for a swim and snorkel.

The gulets are always run by a great crew who are up for a laugh and a joke.

Very reasonable from £7 including lunch, this will leave from about 10am and sailback to the marina at about 4.30/5pm. Just in time for getting back to your apartment for a shower, change and dinner before going out on the town to show off your great suntan!
