Bodrum is good for spending one's time at the seaside. But if you need tranquility, this place is not for you.
The best features: astonishingly clear water (much better than near Antalya), has the most popular disco in Turkey (Halicarnos), very live town which is full of young tourists during August/September
Sightseeing: the main thing to see is St. Peter castle, you won't miss it, it's Bodrums heart; ancient theatre; ancient Halikarnasus; tombs; bazaar or trading street (goes along the sea); windmills on the hill which separates Bodrum and Gumbet, all the other things you could find :))) Click on the map to enlarge
