Hot in April and May 25-30 degrees, not sure about September, their usual season starts in Mid April and finishes Mid October, I think.

Every time I'v been there (first half of sept) it have been ok. I have even been into the sea (I hate cold sea!).
Nightlife have also been ok.

Bodrum is lovely in September, the weather is hot in the day but not as scorching as July and August and warm in the evenings, late September can be a little cool in the evening though.
Nightlife is still good all through September. The season doesn't finish until the end of October.

Hi there, my friend lives in Bodrum all year round and she says it is still really hot there. Cooler in the evenings but lovely and warm in the days. Still ok for swimming - they had a really hot day on Sunday :o)
Even though the season doesn't end till October it is already getting a bit quieter in Bodrum. I was there on 1st September and loads of holiday makers head home in time for school terms starting.

There is no shortage of holiday car hire options in Bodrum but driving in Turkey is no easy job and the best thing to ensure your safety is probably to rent a car from a familiar agent - the town offers car hire from Avis, Budget, easycar and Europcar of the major companies. There are many others that are local, offer unbelievably cheap deals and may well be very safe and well insured but I would stay on the safe side and go for well known company over cheap deal.
