TURGUTREIS - Marina & Boat Trips
by balhannah
Turgutreis, named after a famous Ottoman Admiral who was a Naval hero. It has an excellent Marina with upmarket shops as well. There were all types of Boats here, including the Gulets. As usual, there is no shortage of Boats and Captains wanting to take you on trips. Usually they visit 4 Islands. There are also diving tours available as well.

by erendilight about Halikarnas Disco
Halikarnas is the biggest, trendiest and most stylish club in Bodrum, if not the whole Aegean. The disco seems a joke, it's very expensive (admission price includes first drink) but the setting, the laser show and the no-expense-spared floorshow makes it for some people attractive. You can't miss it as it has the loudest music system in town. Many people around complaining. Open 2200-0400.
On any given night of the week something is happening at 'HALIKARNAS', be it a 'foam Party', Ladies Night' or 'Night of the Dance'. Entry fee is between 20 and 30 Million TL. The advertised FREE BEER NIGHT sounds a bit funny. FREEEEEEE!!!!!
Bodrum by bus
by Erkmen
You can reach bodrum from all major cities of Turkiye. Bodrum bus terminal is in the middle of the town, where you can also take buses to other locations, or nearby town and cities..
Most people are travelling to Bodrum from Izmir, Istanbul and Ankara..
Bodrum is 250 km from Izmir and 840 km from Istanbul.. The road between Izmir and Bodrum is though so it takes longer hours than expected.. So if you are travelling from Istanbul, a night bus from a reputable company is adviced.
Many buses do continue to Turgutreis and Yalikavak also.. Some major bus companies are Boss, Pamukkale, Kamil koc, Varan and Ulusoy..

Blue trip...
by OzgurEY
So there were time I use to enjoy organize some tour from the hotel where i worked to the places which is unforgetable especially to the people who doesnt live there.
I wish you will enjoy one of the beatiful tours of the bodrum...But as a tip , i ld not like if you take a tour from the harbor ,they seems like really chip and the boats are huge, but the negative thing is it will be amazing crowdy and you ll stuck with the person next to you and you wont enjoy it so much.
There i come to give you one advise , first of all if you came with a group you are more lucky to do this tours for yourself alone, just for you. There is only one thing you should do,just go to the village named:Yaliciftlik and in this village they have a nice fisher bay , then you ll see a lot of sweet , beatifull boats and just ask to captains how much does it coast? You can rent them for even a hour or a week and i swear the service and the places you ll see will be amazing..Much more different then to go with bodrum harbor tours and you ll feel like home...Thats what i do with my whole family everysummer...
So only thing go and ask for it.One mor advise if you are there you can ask for captain Turkay,i use to do this tours with him a lot of time and i ve never had a regret with it....So enjoy.
