Theater
by JLBG
The theater has been carved into the slope of the hill. It was first built in the 2nd BC. Later, during the Roman period, it was improved and enlarged. It has now a diameter of 76 m and can accommodate an audience of 5,000. It is in relatively good condition, except for the stage building which along the centuries has been entirely put down, mostly by earthquakes.
