can anyone tell me have they been to calis in october
i have been there 7 times before but always in july august
this is first time in october
does any one know what the weather would be like is good enough for sun bathing and swimming
do you get much rain
thanks for your time
we fly out there on 12 october

(Antalya is the nearest city to Fethiye/calis )
min daily in C 15.0
max daily in C 26.4
rain im mm 67.7
rainy days in month 5.8
I think that you can swim perfectly...

Day time weather is just great for swimming and sunbathing. You might find that it gets a bit chilly at night though. There IS the chance of rain during October.

Travel Tips for Fethiye

Blue Lagoon

Olu Deniz means Dead Sea - and the blue lagoon certainly is clear and calm here - yachts are not allowed to sail into the lagoon so its a wonderful place to have a swim. Its fairly shallow and really warm - safe for kids and for those that don't like bathing in deep water. The sand is more like proper sand - rather than shingly - on the lagoon side. We enjoyed some lazy days here just swimming and basking in the sun. Its well worth the the small entrance fee which helps to protect and maintain this national park.

Scuba diving

Maybe it's not the Red Sea, but there are still wonderful spots for scuba diving. Old ship wrecks (especially in the Blue Lagoon), there is plenty of fish and underwater creatures and plants... Above all, the water is crystal clear, and thus snorkeling is fantastic as well!

Paragliding

The best place for paragliding in Turkey, so if you have enough courage, you have to try at least once.You are taking of top of Babadag ( app. 2000m ) and you are facing up with an amazing scene as attached

Many of tour companies in Oludeniz beach are organizing this amazing event, the prices are 80-100 €.

Oludeniz boat trip

There is also a boat trip from Oludeniz and the boats take off from Belcekiz beach.This boat trip is one hour less than Fethiye-12 Islands trip and a little cheaper.You'll see other bays of Fethiye bay in this trip and also if the wind is not a problem you can also see Kelebekler Vadisi-Butterfly Valley.

As for me (I went both trips more than one) 12 Islands boat tour is more better.
