Gulet Cruise
by kentishgirl
Fethiye has a huge harbour, infact its so big that it dominates the town.
Many Gulet Cruises start and/or finish here. There are plenty of places where you can book them - however in summer they can get very booked out, so as soon as you know when you wanna go - BOOK IT!
We joined our Gulet Cruise here in Fethiye, which over the course of 4 days took us around the coast to Olympos. (Details of the the Gulet on my Olympos Page)
Pancakes
by Aurorae
Like in Serbia, pankcakes are also very popular in Turkey, which is great, because I adore them. The same style like ours, huge and thin. They can be filled with whatever you want, the best are chocolate. They make them slightly different over there, they put the ingredients and filling while they are being baked, and here we do it after the pancake is finished.
The prices vary from place to place, but usually they are between 2 and 5 million.
Usually they are made by women sitting on the floor outdoors.
Boat
by Aurorae
Don't miss the chance to take a boat, either for a one day tour or a mini cruise, it is unforgettable experience! They serve meals on board, usually when you are anchored in one of the coves or lagoones with crystal clear water and enchanting colours!

by FAIRYCHIMNEY
"8 DAYS ON THE HEAPS !!"
Lycian way trekking trail opened in 2004 : An English lady called Kate Clow had designed and implemented the trail.
Even though the trail is about 500 km long , we made 65 of it(which took 8 days)
As we informed through our guide , Lycian way trail was authorised by the Turkish government and way -marking of Lycian way was sponsored by some firms in Turkey. You can find detailed information about Lycian way that was written by Kate Clow.Such a fantastic book and lures all trek lovers up to the mediterranean heaps,to the ancient paths..
here's few words"es taken from Kate Clow's book : "Lycia is the historical name of the Teke Peninsula, which is the bump on Turkey's Mediterranean coast between the cities of Fethiye and Antalya. It is the western termination of the taurus mountains and the vivacious and friendly personality of the Turks."
Above mentioned book is for those who wants to explore a part of the "real Turkey's past and present."
