Have you looked at the VT Fethiye pages? They are full of information about places to eat, things to see etc all written by VT locals and visitors.

Oops! Sorry, did not read your post properly...it seems you have already looked at the Vt pages. :-(

But of you put the restaurant names you mention into Google you will get a map showing you exactly where they are....and opften the address as well. For example, Levissi Garden is at 'Kayakoyu, Fethiye, Mugla Province, Turkey‎' (there is a phone number as well).

http://www.fethiyelife.com/placestovisit.html has useful info about e.g. St Nicholas Island, Gemiler Bay etc.

Travel Tips for Fethiye

Empty beaches in October

by Aurorae

Except for the Blue Lagoon, which is always packed, Ölüdeniz is not very "populated" in October, which is simply perfect - no children jumping on your neck and no screaming, or popping eyes into your bikini. You can have your peace and privacy, since it can happen that the first beach "neighbour" is 100m away. :)

St Nicolas Island

by sandysmith

St. Nicolas island, named after St. Nicolas (Father Christmas yes he actually came from Turkey!!) ) is also know as Gemiler Island. Boats will call in here on the tours so people can swim in the cove or explore the ruins on the island.

Fethiye Town

by kentishgirl

Fethiye is a great place for a wander around the market stalls, shops and cafes.
We found some great cheap little eateries here too.

There is a paved area right in town which is where most people go to eat and shop.

Fethiye

by mikelisaanna

Fethiye is a beach resort town located on Turkey's southwestern Mediterranean coast. Popular with British and Turkish tourists, Fethiye has miles of pebble beaches as well as some interesting nearby historical sights. Fethiye is also surrounded by mountains, with a ridge of mountains behind the town and mountainous islands located a few miles offshore.

We stayed in the Calis Beach section of Fethiye, a mile-long strech of beach located east of Fethiye's town center. Calis Beach is very family-oriented, and features an oceanfront promenade lined with dozens of hotels, cafes, bars, and restaurants.

If you get bored with the beach and the hotel pool, you can visit a few interesting historical sights in and around Fethiye. The two most well known are the Lycian cave tombs carved into cliffs above the town and nearby Karakoy, a Greek ghost town that was abandoned during the population exchanges of the 1920s.
