Hotel Pine Valley, Hisaranu.

If you order direct from the hotel it costs 7 to 11 pounds a night bed and breakfast accorsding to the time in the season.
But you have to get your own flight out there.
When you get there you can pay to get picked up from the airport. Great people, it's like being part of a family.
Great food and drink.
Nice pool.
Right next to the forrest.
It has a gym.
You can arrange to go horse riding through the hotel.
It has entertainment.
It has two bars and at night a restaurant.
A good place to Crash out!

Arrived at the hotel after watching the turkish attempt at driving.... realised that we would NOT be renting a car or bike. Although...they are cheap... and they don't seem to require licenses in some place...
Nice hotel, rooms are very compact, as you can see in the pictures, but then again we weren't going to stay in the room much. Toilets are the type where you cannot put the toilet paper in the toilet, but in a seperate bin.... uurggghhh! Nice balcony...don't try and get two people on it.
The place is immaculately clean. Cleaners are always working.
Large Satellite TV in the bar with 1300 channels... but difficult to find the channel you want. Bar is open till the last person falls out and I am not sure if the bar people actually sleep... as they seem to be there in the morning as well!
Breakfast, is non descript, but we did have a good meal at the Ottaman night for about £6... but I didn't fancy the belly dancing after... the ubiquitous entertainment team seem to do everything... not really my cup of tea.
The hotel is entirely full of English... in actual fact the whole area is English... I don't think I hear any other language except Turkish and English.
Don't bother to change much money into Turkish Lira, you can buy everything in Sterling... in actual fact you get more for per pound than you do for lira... only thing you need Lira for for is the Dolomus (air condition transit vans with seats) that charge about 2-3 lira to go anywhere... just look at the destination on the front and stick your hand out...they are totally brilliant.. and I think the most I waited for one was about 3-4 minutes.
All prices are advertised in sterling (even the properties..)
Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from main street. All restaurants and bars have blokes outside trying to entice you in... bit annoying.. you get used to just walking and saying No...also, there seems to be a 3 second rule if you are looking in a shop window. If you exceed this, there is a turk next to you trying to sell it to you.
Best restaurant was the Olive Tree... a couple of Lira more, but was definately worth it... two good bars were Harrys bar opposite the Olive Tree (Sue's a lancashire lass with a sense of humour) and the Fez Bar... Savache is a good lad and will see you alright.
Monday market is brilliant...again, just take sterling... with a bit of bartering (the 'I have a wife, six goats and a camel to feed' wares a bit thin after a while) you should be able to get 7 fake designer tshirts for £10. They are actually reasonable quality. You really need an large empty case.
Really worth while having the turkish bath... you lose about a pound of skin and you are then squeaky clean... also... a shave (if your a bloke) is a half hour experience not to be missed for £2.
Go to OluDeniz.... cracking place... buzz beach bar is excellent, and the food they do is pretty good as well.
Oh...final tip... take water and food when you go back to Dalaman airport (£8 for a Mac D and beer is about £6 a pint...when you have just been paying £1)
Fabulous Hotel !

Arrived at the Pine Valley resort on 28th June and was straight away greeted by a member of the hotel staff who carrys your suitcases down many steps to your room door. Although the rooms wasnt that big aswell as the balcony (which didnt effect me as I hate heights anyway so dont use the balcony) the cleaniness of the rooms made up for this. (the maids bless them make designs each day out of the towels).
The hotel works on a card system where you get a card that relates to your room number and then anything you buy in the hotel goes onto the card which can be cleared anytime at reception. Dont worry about using the card thinking that the hotel staff will do you out of money as anything that you buy in the hotel you get a reciept for.
There are many steps throughout the hotel but this didnt bother us. The staff well what can I say are very friendly. Embra was our main waiter who was very helpful and funny. I have read in other reviews about the noise of the cockrel and the turkish people praying in the early hours of the morning but this wasnt a problem for us at all. Throughtout the 11 nights that we were their I heard the cockrell once.
The pool is beautiful and are many beds so no need to get up early to reserve, The hotel was full of English people except for the Turkish staff that worked there. This is the first holiday that I have been on to Turkey and will definatly be returning back to this hotel. The town is 5minutes walk to the main strip which comes alive at night time where you will find many bars and resturants. The best resturant that we ate in was called La Meditarean opposite the Lemon tree resturant.
Finally the Fethiye market was great and if you decide to go to the blue lagoon beach ask for St Josephs beach. This is a beautiful seculded part of the lagoon that is stunning. Also the sand is soft hear. I took all English money in £10 notes as nearly everywhere takes sterling and the turkish love £10 notes as they get a better exchange for this in winter.
lots to do, lots, to see and lots to buy!!!

Just returned from a brilliant week at pine valley. food was great and such good value, drinks a little dear. staff very helpful. Hotel very clean and tidy.rooms very small and basic but adequate for your stay. Had a great trip out on a jeep safari booked through explora in the village would highly reccommend as gave us a bigger discount each time we took a trip. jeep safari was hilarious as all the drivers were up for a laugh and a soaking! local people who lived alongside the road on our 200klm journey came out with hosepipes water pistols bottles of water it really was great fun but interesting also. tour guide ali G ASK FOR HIM. the main village was a 5 minute walk from pine valley. But watch out for dodgy aftershave sellers they ripped our kids off £50.00 all their stuff is fake.Lots of good bargains to be had in shops and on market but remember everything is over priced so look at reducing everything by 50% but leather goods will come down to about a quarter of what they are asking, so barter away its good fun. On our last night our barmen let our 13 and 14 year old buy as much vodka and red bull as they wanted which ended up with them being sick all way home and spending £88.00 in the bar. But all in all would go again.

we stayed in this hotel following a trip in june to olu deniz when we stayed at the karbel hotel, which was wonderful ,and i think we were very spoilt there
we were told that there should be a lovely cooling breeze further up in the mountains so chose hisaranou on the advice of family and the hotel through reading reviews on trip adviser
to sum our visit up
yes, rooms are lovely, clean although small are adequate
unfortunately we were put into a room that was in block 6,top floor, adjacent to the bar area and reception.as a result,
for 5 nights we had no sleep due to the loud noise from the bar and the hotel next door bar(kareoki/loud music till late late late) and people coming in through reception up till 5 in the morning.
after asking to be moved twice the reception staff, seeing we looked very tired-) moved us to a ground floor room well away from the bar area-sleep was resumed :-)
the staff? the staff had recently been asked to work 7 days a week -up to 20 hours a day,and as a consequence were at times very tired(breakfast couldnt muster a hello or good morning ,as most were hung over from late bar nights)
they were lovely lads but party animals and woke up at night.
in our opinion(and that of some other people staying)it appeared that if you were a visitor or group that spent lots of time and money in the bar/restaurant or a group of girls, you received a much better service with a smile, than those who were just on a chilling holiday and maybe not filling the till
that said there were a lot of returnees who loved it and returned year after year
in a nutshell-our opinion
rooms-very clean and adequate
location- lovely and relaxing away from the main hub bub of hisaranou.not ideal for elderly /infirm as lots of steps
the pool area,compact but clean
entertainment-party party loud and late-started at 11pm most nights) traditional turkish night was great
food-excellent value for money-we stayed half board and would recommend highly
staff-too many chiefs and too littleoverworked indians(they tried their best)
would we go again?
to turkey-yes
to this hotel personally no asthere seemed to be some unrest within the management staff team at the moment which id impact on service
we would have liked something a little less lively on a night
recommend -turn down the noise at midnight and would be great place to relax
but try it yourself it may be just the place for you-maybe we just liked a more relaxed environment on a night and had received much happier cheerful and attentive service from our visit to the karbel in june
as one of the chirpy pool staff would say
cuppatea cuppatea but not ours i,m afraid
back to olu for us next year

Booked this last minute and were so glad that we did. The hotel is excellent, basic but extremely clean. The rooms are small, but spotless and cleaned every day. The staff make you feel so welcome. Nothing is too much trouble, you never see a miserable face. The newly opened turkish bath and massage centre is excellent, the massage was fab. The hotel is five minutes walk from town and only 10 minutes bus ride to the coast. We will be going back again and would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed for one week. Hotel is great, very clean and the rooms (although if I had a cat I couldn't swing it) are very clean and surprisingly cool. Staff try their best to entertain, the usual pool stuff and mucking about. Great value for money, check out the rates via the hotel before you book through an agent. Beware of transfer costs, it is about £80 each way from Dalaman to Hirasonu if not included in the final price. Also take note if you havn't been to Turkey for some while as the prices are not what they were. A meal for two with wine was costing us £30-40 each night.
Nothing negative to add at all (the music around the pool does do your head in a bit though!) but as the saying goes you can't please everyone.
Clean and friendly!

I stayed at Pine Valley for 21 nights May/June 08.
The pool area is large with plenty of comfy sun loungers and a good atmosphere, there is not a lot of activities but the staff are always about to have a laugh with! I stayed on a bed and breakfast basis & the breakfast was fine typical turkish breakfast bread, cereals, cheese and a few other bits. Once at the hotel you can ugrade to half board for around 6 pound a night. The hotel rooms were great very worthy of there 3* and had a nice shower and plenty of wardrobe space, the maids were lovely and cleaned every day and towels every few days.
Every thing purchased in the hotel is paid for on a card and you can settle this bill at reception at any time and the system works well.
The hotel is in a good location for Hisaronu and only 5 min walk to the centre. There are so many great bars and lovely places to eat out in the town. My favourite restaurants were Serenade (ask for adam hes lovely) Festival and Butterfly.
Out of the 21 nights at Pine Valley i was alone for 10 and as a young female i was worried but the staff were so great and were always looking out for me and making sure i was ok. A big Thank you to Suat on reception for always being there for a chat and always smiling and a thanks to Iso and Burhan.
The staff in this hotel work extremely hard and are always smiling and i would recommend this hotel to couples, singles and families.
If you have any questions about the hotel or the area feel free to contact me!
Best Holiday I've ever had in Hisaronu
by TripAdvisor Member judithcharmers
We spent 15nts there fron June6-June22.
What a great time we had! We have been to Hisaronu many times and have stayed in several hotels. The Pine Valley is most definately the best hotel I have stayed in - it is a three star hotel, the rooms are very nice - the bathrooms have shower cubicles which makes a change from the usual bathrooms in Turkey where you could sit on the toilet and have a shower at the same time!! Rooms are well decorated and are kept immaculately clean. Swimming pool is a good size and the hotel food is v good.
The entertainment is amateur but hilarious - the staff are what makes this hotel. The BBQ night is great.
Special thanks to almost everybody for making us laugh 24/7. Haran, Ismail, Denis, Lion, Osman, Erhan, Bob, Onur, DJC - the list goes on.
We will be returning for our tenth visit to Hisaronu next year!!
