has any one got any photographs of icmeler in the winter monthes my freind went last january she loved it said their was a few bars open but a lot closed up said it was lovely love to see photos of the place
There is about another week for the season to run.
Quite a few bars are already closed down.
Several bars are open through the winter months,and these last couple of years has seen an increase in the bars that stay open.
Winter time is the time of demolishing and re-building in Icmeler and you must rememember that most of the restaurent workers have gone back home to thier Towns Villages and Cities.

The first time that I met a Turkish person they took my hand and shook it as though I was a long lost friend.
The Turkish handshake is not done with a strong grip but a loose one.
After you have formed a friendship you are greeted with an Handshake but also the kissing on both cheeks.
The first time it happened to me I was surprised because I am from a steel and coal area and men dont do those things.
The Turkish people are very loving and affectionate.
Not a restaurent but a small Turkish cafe doing pancakes and other Turkish delicasies.
No fancy surroundings just cushions and the wonderfull Turkish hospitality. Cheese pancakes.
If a meal is served in heaven this is it.
We have just returned from 11 nights in Icmeler staying at the Hotel Bonjour. We had an excellent time and have visited Turkey on numerous occasions. We normally stay in the neighbouring resort of Marmaris but travelling with an 18 month old child decided to visit Icmeler which we were pleasantly suprised with.
