Icmeler Park Apartments: Budget Apartments
just come back from a 2 week holiday in these apartments, and I will emphasise "holiday".
Arrived at the apartments at 11-15pm 5th June,Memhet the manager was very helpful and had our cases carried up to the second floor room 301.
Not a dingy look in site, rooms were huge with 2 balconies making it very airy when both doors open,no need for air-con.
Great Sea views to be had from both balconies, looking down to the Yakamoz beach area.
Best Bed we have ever had in Icmeler.
Best and Softest pillow we have ever had.
Cleanest and Softest Towels ever in Icmeler.
Shower powerful and plenty of hot water.
A little trouble using the toilet as it was situated very close to the shower cubicle, but it was mastered in the end, but not all rooms like this.
Facilities for a family of 4,no Toaster but we had our own.
Small pool area, but no problem as we had it to ourselves, just think a little more attention to the cleaning of the pool should have been made.
The stairs at first were a problem as the lights worked on a timer switch but always went off before we got upstairs,so I used to stay on one level while the wife went up, then I would follow, then take over again, following this pattern until reaching our floor.Had many a laugh after a night out trying to get upstairs,in the end bought a torch as a back up.
Best ever sleeps in Icmeler to say that we were in the centre of things, that bed used to beckon me to its mattress lol.
The wife is 69 and I am 72 and would book these apartments again, next time will go to the 4th floor not because of the fantastic sea views but because the higher you get the more you seem to laugh.
We had a fantastic holiday in a budget apartment.
Good sea views, one minute to the beach.

Cerit Hotel: A special little Hotel
A family run Hotel where the owners Sema and Abraham a lovely couple treat their guests like part of the family. This is noticeable by the people who return year after year and keep in touch with the owners throughout the year. We have been regular customers of the café that’s part of the Hotel and have built up a friendship with the owners.
I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone.
The hotel is small and the accommodation is very basic, but clean and kept in good state of repair. The pool is small and clean situated in a lush well kept garden. There is an eating area for the guests if they chose to use it, or they can use the café which most of the guests seam to. The friendliness of the proprietors is infectious and everyone talks to each other both fellow guests and café customers.

Imperial apartments: Decent, fun apartments
There are several dozen, if not hundreds of apartment complexes in Icmeler. They're all pretty formulaic, with a swimming pool and bar - some are nearer the middle of town or further away. These are smaller than most, but otherwise pretty typical.
Cheap (well the package was), clean, well maintained, and the staff extremely helpful and friendly (as pretty much universal in this part of Turkey).
Mehmet, Carlos and Romeo could not do enough!

Arya Apart Otel: Excelent Apartments
We stayed at the Arya Apartments August 07 and found them to be some of the best accommodation we have had in Turkey. The Staff were very helpful and friendly and the apartment was very clean, with the rooms cleaned and clean towels every day. When we arrived we were put in an apartment on the second floor, as I have a problem with my legs they transferred us to a ground floor apartment with absolutely no hassle.
I would recommend these apartments to any family going to Icmeler.
The apartments have their own restaurant and supermarket as part of the complex. Very handy for supplies on the first day when self catering.

juniper hotel: quite good hotel
Stayed at the Juniper hotel Icmiler for the second time its was not as good as last year, we put this down to Steve the barman leaving and Tourgood who made sure all the guests got the best service moving to the sister Hotel. The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels supplied daily and I suppose thats was all we needed really.
The Hotel is very near the centre of Icmeler and as I have walking dificulties was ideal for me. There is a lift but seams to be on its last legs, the engineers were called out twice during our stay. The point is when there was a problem it was sorted straight away.
The pool is clean and they test the water daily, at least thats what we were told.

Aqua Hotel: Couldn't have asked for a better location
This hotel was in the best location. .....ever.
Everything you could want was within walking distance. To get to the beach, you simply walk out of the back of the hotel. To get to Icmeler centre you wallk out of the front of the hotel.
The view from our room was fantastic. We could see the swimming pool, the sea and the mountains.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space which were kept clean, as was the hotel.
The food in the restaurant was good with a lot of choice. I would recomend the freshly cooked omelettes for breakfast.
The pool area was great however, there is not a really shallow part of the pool so if you are under 5 foot tall, there is no way you would be able to put your feet on the floor. However, ther is a baby pool for the very small.
I would recommend that everyone tries the a la carte restaurant during their stay as it is so cool and calming.
It is free of charge if you have already paid for an evening meal. There is not a massive choice but whatever you choose will be beautifully served and presented.

ALVARO self catering apartments ( and villas ): Icmeler's friendliest apartments
The Alvaro apartments are comfortable, friendly, have a very sociable staff who like to encourage you if you want to try learning some Turkish. The pool area is large enough with the usual bar area, the rooms are spacious and well equipped.
We had no problems here, and I doubt if anyone would leave here disatisfied with any of the arrangements. One thing it does'nt have is an internal lounge area, but who wants to sit inside when you're in Icmeler ?
IF any problems did arise,I have no doubt that Leon would have any fault fixed in minutes.
Most of the Alvaro's attractions have been covered above, the food is good..but while we have no hesitation about taking meals there,we do tend to stick with an earlier gem that we found for meals..The Summer Garden Restaurant...but I assure you, this in no way reflects badly on the Alvaro's kitchens.
