%Wonderful friends we made
by doreenellen
You cannot believe how friendly the locals are and how hard they all work. Most of the staff live within the area and have relations in the shops or restaurants. They tell you that they are there for you as "you are on holiday" We asked what they do in the winter, and most of them replied "Sleep or go for walks etc" %

Pirate Boat Trip
by redrhino12
This was an ICR boat trip that had a Pirate Theme,
Everyone making an effort by either wearing an eye patch, sporting hooks and wooden legs and more muskets and cutlases to fill an armoury
This goup of Buccaneers left the ICR offices at about 9-30 am, all intent on having a good time.
We travelled to Marmaris in a small bus got dropped off at the harbour then boarded our pirate vessel.
Everyone had loads of room to stretch out because there was only about 24 pirates on the boat.
The day passed visiting the cave, fish farm,we had swim stops and a fantastic lunch, with as much as you could eat.
Some of the pirates who had done naughty things were made to ride the ringos,John getting all this on film.
The stop in Turunc was an afternoon to remember.
We all got off the boat and walked through the centre of Turunc, all dressed up in our pirate gear.
Shopkeepers came out of thier shops and gazed in awe as this bunch of skirvy cut-throats ambled through thier town.
We arrived at the Tavern (Bar 48 and ordered our grog.
In the tavern Phil gave his rendition of "From Paris To Berlin" surely he is a star in the making.
Buxom wenches were plentifull.
Donna led the dancing helped by Joanne.
People were stopping outside and even entering the bar to try and become part of the "ICR Buccaneers"
We had a fantastic day out with forum members it was a pleasure to meet you all.
Joanne summed it all up on the last leg of our sea voyage back to Icmeler,
As everyone was gazing up towards the warm sun gently carresing our faces she said.
"This Is What Memories Are All About"
