Have a nice time at ur 1st holiday.hope u leave smiling in the end.
prices changes such as 1,5 lira for a can of coke or 10 lira for a small size pizza or 7 lira for pack of Camel wen u r bored of ur all inclusive package:)

its around 20 degrees in marmaris recently I reckon the shops would be welcoming you wit open arms there :) but not sure how much of the nite clubs would be open as it was not the season really.

p.s.1 usd dollar is 1,50 Turkish LIRA.

As Mickey said above.

Hotel rooms in Turkey are clean and well looked after.
You will find it strange with the fact that in a lot of hotels, your toilet waste paper has to be put in a bin next to the toilet, although this practice is vanishing fast these days. If bin is provided you could be charged for unblocking your toilet.
You hotel room should be clean, and we treat it has a changing room with a bed and shower. You will not spend too much time in there.

Enjoy Turkey, it is a great country to visit.

when I was there, my Hotel told me that a lot closes down in the off season, but I am sure that there will be enough to do, the whole lot would not close!

Loved the Grand Pasa Hotel. The entertainment team were really good despite the fact that it was early in the season and not an awful lot of tourists about.Rooms were spacious, all inclusive was good staff very helpful but not pushy.Only downside was the pool -very deep all over - hope you are a good swimmer. loads of shops open, should get a decent tan weather was beautiful when we were there in April 2008 & 2009.Recommend the white water rafting, couple of hours to get there but great craic, also jeep safari and the scuba diving.Have a lovely time,we are going back in August can't wait.

Travel Tips for Marmaris

Blue Voyage

by beatle74

Without wasting time, without wasting money......you got up in the morning with sun rise, wash your face while you swim....no cooking, no working, no mobile phone, just sea, blue, green and all the colors of spectacular nature. Sleeping under the stars, eating and drinking all day long....etc.
Perfect!!! Amazing experience.

BOAT HIRE

by whitecliff62

Hiring a boat out is the best way to see the beautiful coastline Marmaris has to offer and its quite cheep as well, you can hire a boat like this with the owner for about 80 pounds a day and thats for 4 people

Icmeler

by mindcrime

Although you can swim in Marmaris beach it’s better to go by Dolmus to Icmeler Beach. Check out the surrounded district and spend some hours there.
Clear waters under the bright sun is what you get here in every bay of Marmaris so be prepaid to relax on the sandy beaches. Icmeler is also ideal for water sports.

It’s also nice to walk back to Marmaris along the coast but you’ll need around 2 hours. But who cares about time when on holidays right?

My photo is from a cloudy October day so the beach was abandoned, an amazing scenery comparing to the active beach that is till late September.
