We found this thing, animal, insect, call it wate you will, swimming about in the sea around the bays of Marmaris. As you can see its as big as my mask and it was making a bubbling noise. Can anyone please tell me what the hell it is ?

Marmaris seems to be pretty quiet with a peaceful atmosphere in October. There are few people around on that season. If you really like having fun, clubbing, meeting people etc I recommend you to go there in summer. On the other hand, hotels are much more cheaper in October. The choice is yours..Have fun!

I was in Antalya in November. If you want to know what to expect in terms of weather. It should be pleasant, but not really sunbathing weather or ocean weather. You could luck out but if you want a good beach vacation, head further south to Eilat or Sharm el Sheikh.

I live in Marmaris and during October the season is slowing down but you will still find plenty to do in "Bar Street" to 4am. Most eating houses are open, infact all places are still open , its just the tourists who are not in such abundance as in the period May to September. YOu will be pleased with the weather. If I can help any more send me a mail.

its hectic as you would expect,lots of peeps trying to get u in there shops.one of the days there it was nearly 45 degrees :s,never got below 34 degrees.

I went in early April, and was talking to an English guy who sold the tours, and took out the diving..it was too cold to dive, but he said October is a really good time to go. I'm already booked for the Dominican later this year, but going to Mararis early May and October 2008.

Beach Party
Marmaris is very famous village specially for Britts and where britts are Party is there....
It is a day event that takes place on one of the secluded beaches around Marmaris.
You will sail to the beach around 10:00 am and arrive in about an hour. There will also be a cocktail bar where you can sit at the bar and enjoy the music played by some of the best DJs in Marmaris. Chat along, sing along, play along, dance along….. Swim, drink, sleep, meet, dance….. Smile, Romance, make love not fight, seize the day…..
For water sports enthusiasts… There will be water-skiing, jet skiing, banana, ringos, speed boats, skin diving, paragliding available all day.
While you do all this, Vagabundo crew and staff will be grilling for you some fish, meat, chicken. If you want go join them and cook for yourself and others. Be part of the team all day. This is your team. A long serving table will be set on the beach and at lunch time you will be served salads, fruits, grilled meat, fish and chicken marinated… Eat as much as you can. This is a feast!!! You will return to back to Marmaris around 18:00 still having fun on the boat on the way back.

Marmaris is between the Turkey's other beautiful coasts Fethiye and Bodrum.It has a very big yacht harbour.It's very crowded during May-October.There are tourists everywhere.In the center there is a beach and also all kinds of hotels with their pools.But close the city there are much more pure nature and sea.You really must see out of the city too.

After Icmeler , you will go through the mountain road with great wievs anad then stop in Turunc Bay ; fantastic and more quiet.
