More about Club Alla Turca
The highly recommended Club Alla Turca!
The Club Alla Turca Hotel is a small and perfectly located hotel.
It tends to attract the people that like a holiday that involves getting out and seeing sights, and therefore it nevers feels busy which is a bonus.
The hotel itself is modern and is perfectly maintained. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, which the rooms cleaned throughly and beds changed everyday.
It is just a 5-7 minutes stroll to dalyan town which is the centre for boat trips to various places and restaurants for evening dining.
My one criticism of the Club Alla Turca hotel is that the food and drink are very expensive in comparison to the town just a few minutes away. For this reason I would recommend that you book to go half board instead of B&B or dine out in the town every night.
The hotel 'complex' has several small buildings with approx 20 rooms in each, 2 dining areas, a large pool which adequate number of sun beds and a mature garden area that attracts a large number of small birds to the grounds which adds to its charm.
Highly recommended for anyone staying in this idyllic area of Turkey.
Club Alla Turca is an excellent hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The pool area was regularly cleaned and the pool is large enough to easily accommodate the size of the hotel.
The accommodation is clean and spacious with pleasant furnishing. The food at both the restaurant and snack bar was also very good. We will certainly be returning in the near future.
The Best Holiday and hotel ever
Stayed at Club Alla Turca the first week in September arrived back on Saturday 8th.
This hotel is extremely well run and very very clean. There is a good mix of English, Dutch and Turkish holiday makers here. The hotel caters for all ages and also families. If your looking for a hotel with loud music etc thent his is not for you. This hotel is a place to chill out relax and have a beer if you want!!
The pool is nice and big with a swim up bar but also has plenty of shade if needed. The bar staff (Nam and Al are great)
Rooms are spacious and clean with air con and shower bath room. views are lovely.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel but this was lovely with a great selection of food.
All staff here are very friendly and helpful and will always try their best to accomodate your requests/needs.
The hotel is located 10 minutes walk down the river path to the centre of Dalyan. A taxi is 5 Turkish but really not needed. Also the hotel has a free bus service to the centre at certain times.
Dalyan is one of the most beautiful places i have been too.
Everyone is very friendly with a good selection of bars and restaurants. (Go and see Spike on Ley Ley restaurant stand located nect to the post office)
Lots to do in Dalyan plenty of trips especially on the river.
Dont miss the 12 islands tour its great especially worth paying a bit extra and going on a sailing boat!!
All in all the best holiday ever if you want any more info then give us a shout.
What a charmer !
What a charming hotel in a delightful resort. For service, facilities and sheer willingness to ensure your holiday works, you'd have difficulty improving on this hotel. One of the most comprehensive
buffet breakfasts available in a spacious eating area whose walls slide back on two sides making it a wonderful place to eat.
All rooms are more than adequate with air - con. included.(Better
to be on higher floor and to rear of property if you require peace
away from the pool area). Reception is 24hour, cleaning of rooms and hotel area is of a consistently high quality.Whilst we
were there we met at least five (5 ) sets of people who were on
repeat trips to Dalyan, three of whom were returning to the the Alla
Turca.That says it all.
It's prximity to town (10 mins. stroll) is appealing and the stroll can either be by the riverside or the roadway.Dalyan itself is beatiful but may prove irritating for those who prefer to fall out of
bed onto the beach.IIt's 20minutes by dolmus but the nicest
choice is to go by water taxi(40 minutes ) to the famous Turtle
beach. Restaurants are plentiful and relatively cheap particularly
on the outskirts. *** Quick tip *** On the river path within a five
minute stroll from the Alla Turca is one of the best kept secrets
where dining out is concerned. An wonderful place with some of
the best cuisine in the resort and the best prices. It's name is
" YORUK OBASI ".Normal tables and individual dining areas
built on stilts and situated in it's own field alongside the river it
makes for the special occasion which I guarantee you'll return to
before you go home.
First Class Holiday
We have just returned from this hotel, everything was just perfect. It is modern, but built in traditional Turkish style. Has a very large swimming pool, with seperate Jacussi, and children's pool. The rooms are fully equiped, including safe, and are of a good size. It is Surrounded by extensive gardens, and plenty of sun beds and sunshades. The staff are extremely friendly, and very well trained. We booked Half Board, and were delighted with the good range of dishes available, and only ate in the Hotel. We were so happy with this hotel, that we have just booked to go back again in September
We have visited Turkey many times, but can honestly say that this was a perfect holiday.
This place is just the best! The Hotel is very clean, the staff are great, really friendly and helpful. From the minute we arrived at the Hotel, we were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff had a smile! If you are looking for total relaxation - this is the place to go! No silly games round the pool, no one pestering you to join in dance classes etc, there is no enternainment.
Even though we were there at the beginning of July, no problem any day being able to get a sun bed by the pool.
Food is buffet style and plenty of choice. Warning, if you sit by the side of the pool to enjoy your evening meal make sure you wear plenty of insect repellant as there are a lot of mosquitos.
Dalyan Village is only a 5 - 10 minute walk down the road, restaurants galore, food amazing and cheap. Make sure you eat on the riverside, lovely setting for a romantic, relaxing, enjoyable meal.
We can recommend the following restaurants, Sini (this one is not on the river but is a MUST for traditional Turkish food), Caretta Caretta, Yakamoz, both of these are on the riverside.
Enjoy! We will definately being going back!
Daylan at it best
The hotel was one of the best we have stayed at, from supurb food, to very helpful and friendly staff, from the desk staff to cleaners all are very helpful.
Rooms are air conditioned towels changed daily, we stayed on a half board basis and there was so much choice for each meal you will surly put on weight if you are not careful.
If you like wildlife the delta will not disapoint, we went down to the waterfront and spent a day with Captain Ismail Bulut on his boat Goksu-92. Where we were treated to a spectical, of both sea and freshwater Turtles, Kingfisher,s (20), Purple Heron, Egrerts, Lanner Falcon, Grey Heron and many others. Captain Ismail said that May is also avery good time to see the birds from this area and is able to take torists arround the shallower areas of the lake as he uses a smaller boat than a number of other captains, so you are sure to see some wonderful birds. If you go for the day ask captain Ismail to provide lunch yet another delight, which was prepared on board by Ismail and his son, not to be missed.
a good hotel
This is a good hotel with pleasant staff and sits in a picturesque area of Dalyan. Those reviewers who took 5/7 minutes to walk to the town must have sprinted as it took us 15 minutes.
The breakfasts were of a high standard and the two dinners we had were above average buffet food. However there are so many places to eat in the town it would be a shame not to try them. On our last day we discovered the Hotel Calypso just across the road on the riverside where they prepare pide - Turkish pizza - and cook it in a woodburning oven outside. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner but take the mosquito spray. On that subject do not buy the spray at the hotel as we did - it is less than half the price in the town.
Another good restaurant is Sini - not cheap but with plenty of atmosphere and genuine Turkish cooking.
We took three trips -the 12 island sail. the Dalyan classic and the jeep safari all of which were excellent and the last two included an excellent lunch. Do not book through the tour operator bu t go downtown where it is cheaper.
This is our third trip to Turkey and I think that Dalyan must be one of the last relatively unspoilt places to visit so go while it lasts.
On a final note on the hotel. The rooms are not spacious but adequate and while linen is changed regularly we had plenty of black mould in our bathroom. Ask specifically not to be put in rooms 104,105 or 106 as they have a direct view into the laundry and boilerhouse .
Wot no Efes?!
We stayed at the Alla Turca for 2 weeks in Sept/Oct. This was our 3rd time in Dalyan and 12th to Turkey. The Alla Turca is a nice hotel with efficient friendly staff, is kept very clean and has a lovely pool (freezing though!). However people need to be aware that it's rating at top of the list is probably because so many more people stay there than elsewhere due to the number of large travel companies using this hotel. It was too busy for us with the hassle of reserved sunbeds etc, which we usually manage to avoid in Turkey. Breakfasts were good with the variety that only a large busy hotel can bring. We had one dinner (complimentary) which consisted of a good choice but in our opinion did not come close to proper (and very cheap!) Turkish Lokanta type food that you can find in town. The room included free air conditioning and safe, which is very reasonable but prices at the bar and booking the room for the extra time to a late flight seemed excessive to us in comparison with most places AND there was no Efes beer, which seems nothing short of criminal for a Turkish hotel!!!!
In all a very nice hotel if you like quite a lot of people around, like socialising at the bar and don't mind paying the extra for it. I think we prefer smaller and quieter.
Still a lovely hotel
Our third visit to the Alla Turca and again we were not disappointed.
Our intentions were for a very relaxing week and having been to Dalyan on three previous occasions did not venture out that much. Did the 12 island trip with Kaunos tours again and had a wonderful day out again on the Gulet. Only disappointment was the amount of development around Golcek (sailing point) which was once a delightful little village fortunately Dalyan is only slowly expanding and still remains much of its character.
Stayed on Half Board again and food once again was excellent with a freshly cooked egg option whilst you wait plus other hot dishes and an extensive continental option for breakfast. Evening meal consists of soup, an excellent salad bar, three or four meat choices and a good range of deserts & fruits. The snack bar also had a wide range at lunchtime.
Room was once again spotless, towels changed every day and the air con and safe are still included.
Some staff changes since last year but many old faces remain. With the Army finally getting Nam for his National Service; anybody who has met Nam will know this meant the bar was quietier! But this just means Ali takes more of a central stage and his new sidekick will be a real handful by the end of the season! New staff just means new friends alongside our old friends.
Perhaps not the cheapest place to stay & eat in Dalyan but if you want a friendly and relaxing stay Alla Turca is still the place for me.
