Irish bar
by 0d0e0n0i0s0e about Irish Bar
This bar is ok if you are spending loads of money in there! Otherwise they ask you to leave! I was mortified to be told on the last night of my holiday, that I wasn't welcome in there by a Turkish Waiter!! What kind of people are these, I thought the Turkish were hospitable, I am going back to Marmaris in Sept 05 on a Hen night with 15 *** Heads, but we won't be visiting the Irish Bar, Thankyou
boat trip to Cleopatra beach
by Chrisshaw01
Everyone goes on the dalyan/turtle beach trip which is great but i found a place while on the internet called cleopatra beach which i had to visit for myself and it was well worth it.
This is a very lazy day with plenty of swims and also a very nice beach. It is also a protected area so it is virtually unspoilt. The sand is like white powder and the sea is one of the best i have seen. It is only small but it is as good as the pictures i have uploaded.
On either side of the beach are guards to make sure that you leave all shoes towels etc away from the sand, and it is important that you wash when you come off. There are sun loungers provided free off the beach.
Not far from the beach are some ancient ruins of an ampitheatre . It is said that Cleopatra had the sand imported from Egypt and it is like fine golden powder.
The trip consists of a coach which takes you to a boat which takes you there with a few swim stops on the way. food was included. It is one of the best i have seen in turkey!
If you like a nice relaxing day to top up your tan this is the one.
