5* elegance????!!!!!
5* elegance hotel in marmaris, Turkey.. you would think they would be waiting on you hands and feet... but nothing to my imagination! overall nice location and presentation, but the workers were arrogant, sleazy and not helpful at all..
The main clash i had with the hotel was with the hairdressers that was within the hotel called white and red.. the head hairdresser was called Arif.
I went in to ask for haor extentions.. he dragged the price on for few days and showed me a product which was perfect to what i wanted. (natural curly hair) the price was then reasonable.. so i booked appointment and got the extentions in my hair.
When i saw the hair, it was black and straight.. i asked him how will this be curly as this is what i wanted.. he expalined and said the end porduct will be curly as he will cut it to blend in with my hair aswell as curl it...9khna
non of this happened.. the extentions were too less for my hair, didnt match the colour of my hair, he didnt cut it neither did he curl it!!!!
furthermore he started demaning for the reminder of his money as i only paid him 75% of £80.00.
he was very pushy and started raising his voice.. i wasnt happy with the end result at all but thoguht there is nithing i can do about it now and just pay up..
£80.00 is alot of money for something which wasnt worth it, so i decided to speak to the general manager of the hotel (khan)..
his assistant kept saying hewas busy but i found him outside on the pier... i expalined to him what had happened.. he listened, and said he would sort it.. but as expected niothing was don!!
i left my contact details behind for hi, but damn well know he will NOT be in touch!!
so from my experience i believe people like that can treat you in anyway they like, and complints just fall on deaf ears... so why have a general manager or even a complaints procedures???
i would not recommed this hotel to anyone... the staff are very noisy and do not give you priviacy!

Oh, Why didn't we trust the people who said don't go to Elegance…
Bad experience Rude crew, the rooms are old and ugly, and the food was lousy.
Thanks' god it ended after 3 days..

BEST HOTELO IN MARMARIS
The facilities in the hotel were amazing and all the pictures that you see on the hotels website is exactly what they look like. they have two swimming pools and the main one is very large and clean and is ideal for both children and adults, the only irritating thing is that the pools close at 7. I would strongly recommned anyone that is going to this hotel to have a turkish bath it is unbelievably relaxing and is worth every penny.
The breakfast buffet in the hotel is delicious and there is such a large range that it is impossible for you to try everything and the dinner is just as good, i would strongly recommend that anyone that is thinking of booking this hotel to book all inclusive that is the only thing we regret not doing as we booked only bed and breakfast because it saves you time having to go look for good restaurants which can be hard to find and so on our last day we paid to have dinner at the hotel which turned out to be our best meal there .
Overall this is the best hotel in Marmaris to stay in and is truly worth 5 stars,i can't wait to go back next year. Oh and a word of warning for people that have not been to marmaris make sure that when you go shopping you haggle because the people there try to con tourists, i learnt that quick and another thing DALAMAN AIRPORT IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE AIRPORT IN THE WORLD do not buy anything from there it is the biggest rip off i have ever seen a Mcdonalds hamburger is 14 euros and it is the same with all the other restaurants in the airport but because we were all starving we bought chocolate bars from duty free.
Anyway i hope this has been helpful and anyone that is going ther have a a great time the sites and weather are amazing.

nice hotel with best pier
nice wast rooms, good service, nice stuff...except some annoying waiters..well suppose that happens sometimes if you are an attractive woman and maybe because of turkish men having temper.. they have very good spa center, also hamam is not so bad (though completely different from authentic hamams in Istanbul)
Unique Quality: located very close to the beach, having seen other hotels nearby, sure that's hotel with best pier overlooking the sea

I had stayed so many times at Marmaris, but never choosed this one before.. Always on a limited budget trips made me to stay away from this hotel..
On our last trip, I went with my wife and was looking for a decent hotel. All the good hotels I know was booked. Later I decided to check this one and surprisingly we have received a perfect rate with corporate discount..
The hotel was renovated and looking very nice. It has all sorts of comfort that you can look for including far east massage.. The rooms are comfortable and very good. The hotel is just on the seaside and it has a very nice beachfront. You just stay on the pillows and get suntanned. The hotel has also got two swimming pools.
Unique Quality: What I like best was the food.. it was delicious, hope they can keep the same cook in the future..
Will definitely stay at this hotel for other trips also..

Marmaris good 5 stars accomodation
A great hotel, but the service could be beter, not friendly at all in the restaurant (may be because its the end of the season) i don't know.
Unique Quality: Great vieuw from the Roof bar, 2 pools, all kind of massage fitness everything .

all inclusive at elegance hotel marmaris
Can anyone advise where I can get an all-inclusive deal for the Elegance Hotel marmaris.Alternatively recommend a good family hotel all inclusive with entertainment/childrens entertainment.Close to the beach Marmaris/Icemeler.We have flights booked for 02/08/2010 for 2 weeks but no hotel yet!
