hotel from hell

DO NOT go to this hotel how ever cheap or nice it looks and dont be fooled by the star rating! my stay was the worst ever and i"m not some fussy old man. I stayed there with my wife and two young boys and there must have been 2000 people staying here and most were russian that is why the kids club along with the entertainment was all russian! I would say there were no more than 30 british people staying here. When it comes to eating that is when it gets really bad as they dont tell you there is two hotels green nature resort & spa 5* and club green nature 4* all using one resturant! you fight to get a table and when you do someone from your party must stay at the table so it does not get taken while the others go to get food that is if there are any plates and when you do get some food it is rubbish and ive been to turkey a few times and like there food normaly. Its hard to get a drink as theres not enough staff and the staff are very unfriendly.
this is not a 4 or a five star hotel i would give it 2 stars at the most. after four days we could not wait to get home and we were there for two weeks what a nightmare!!!!
Bursa... Green Bursa...

Bursa is one of the big cities of Turkey. It's known also as Green Bursa because of it's nice green nature..
There are alot of industries there. Auto, textile, timber... So it's quite rich city..
One of the famous costums of Bursa is it's delicious Kebap. It's called Bursa Iskender Kebap. It's special kebap baked, serve with butter souce, yogurt and pide(tipical bread). It's very very very YUMMY!!! (Look at local costums part for more info and photo ;) )
Bursa has winter sport activities also. Uludag (Big mountain) has elegant hotels and possibilities to skii and snowboard..
In Bursa you can find alot of history and tipical Ottoman houses, that are preserved and restaurated...
Ulu Camii (mosque), one of the musts of the city and should be seen.
Around the city there are small provinces to spend summertime with nice beaches...

GREEN NATURE RESORT ??? Having just returned from here on a weeks holiday with my 8yr old son i can honestly say i was glad 2 be coming home which is a shame when u only have one holiday a year after saving for 12mnths. it was our first time in turkey and would definatley go back to turkey but certainly will not be returning to green nature ever......!!! 1 The water slides were a god send i dont no what id of done with a young energertic lad without them WHEN THEY WORKED. 2 WHAT KIDS CLUB yeah face painting ideal for under 5's not safe at all to be left with the staff who hardly speak english and certainy dont seem to care when i witnessed young children fighting and them just watching or choosing 2 ignore i was horrifed. my son went once for an hour and i stayed with him and played footy BAD NEWS for parents when u expect an have always had a proper run KIDS CLUB. 3 THE HOTEL was so busy couldnt even gat a sunbed oneday at 9am in the morning nor a table for breakfast nor evenings the queing was just ridiculous by the time u got ur meal on your plate it was cold then having returned to your table drinks had been removed and your table taken, yeah great if you like cold pasta and salad and fruit in the end on the second day we ate out as my son just would not eat their food and having had two days of junk food found a lovely restaurant that we used daily DEFEATING THE OBJECT OF ALL INCLUSIVE but at least we both ate AND enjoyed.by the end of our week they had started to make fresh pancakes and pizza at lunch which was very nice i must say again though after you have quede for ten mins. 4 Far to big a hotel far to many people for the hotel to cope with. 5 What evening entertainment ONE SHOW AND ONE BELLY DANCE (OH AND TURKISH NITE) the same night the whole week a disgrace as advertising daily and evening entertainment and DEFINATLEY NOT FOR CHILDREN !!!!!!!!! 6 sat in the bar with freinds we had met the rest of the week and walks down beach front to enterain the children. 7 BE AWARE THE PLASTIC CUPS fron the bar pool area are just washed under running tap and stacked back up a cigarette butt id seen in some on many occasion 5STAR I THINK NOT have had cleaner 3 and 4star hotels. could keep going but will add a couple of nice points lovely clean rooms clean towels daily very freindly animation team just not enough to do for the chidren its very much more of an adult hotel for the luxerious spa massage hair salon tatoo shop sauna turkish bath i would most certainley avoid it with children .

never again, i dont know where to start. 4 adults and 4 kids went in our party. hotel was clean food was rubbish if you didnt get there early enough there was nothing left. and it was all repeatative every day. we ate out all the time. the air-con is controlled by the hotel and there might aswell be no air-con because its crap. then the hotel said it was broken down, but the unit was under our balcony and we could hear it when it was turned on. we knew it had been turned off. The temperature was 50 in the sun and 42 in the shade, and 36 in the evening. You get served drinks in 3 inch plastic beakers in the evening, 2 mouthfuls and your beer is gone, and it takes 20 minutes to get served again. A child broke a glass in the paddling pool and they swept it with a dust pan and brush. they never even closed the pool, and when glass breaks it splinters. Thomas Cook reps were crap and also we met people who had been there for 2 weeks and they said the air-con had been the same. never again what a waste of money. We wrote a 5 page letter of complaint and we were only there a week. i wouldnt reccommend this hotel to my worst enemy
Pleasant stay at this hotel, most staff friendly especially at club bar,

GOOD HOLIDAY, GREAT FOOD AND VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE,
As we are a couple and wanted a peaceful holiday we came just at the end of the season. We recommend coming here in the height of season, as it is an ideal family hotel, lots to do for children and adults.
Loved this place!

My husband and I spent two weeks at this hotel early April, the hotel was only just getting ready to open and the pools were not in operation. After 2 days all was functional, the management and staff could not do enough for us, we were waited on hand and foot! Our room was fantastic, the maids very polite, the room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. The first week the hotel was occupied by just 22 of us so we were spoilt a little! The second week saw an influx of just over 800 people, big shock to the system for us, but this is place is big and accommodates such influx with ease. The turkish bath, spa, gym, indoor pool facilities are new and very luxurious. The hairdresser, Simon, a very funny man, and his assistant are very good and confident in their work, my haircut was really nice. They also offer manicures and pedicures etc and so cheap, remember to barter with them! The only downside to this hotel is the reception / bar area can get quite noisy, we found the outside bars nice and the staff, especially Memet and his partner in crime Saleem, both very cheeky guys, keep your eye on them :-).
Food is really nice, but not very hot, we asked others around us and it seems that most of the hotels are like that, for some reason, cant go wrong with the salads! Restaurant is spotless as is the rest of the hotel.
Full animation team, very friendly, especially the team leader Gonga, (Gonja), she will make sure you are entertained every evening, when there was only 22 of us she was determined we were going to have something to do in the evenings, but once all had settled down and the ampitheatre was open, entertainment flowed and was excellent. The children are well looked after and the games room is good to.
I would definately go back and would go possibly at the end of April when its fully functional, most of Marmaris is getting ready for the season early April so it tends to look like a building site everywhere. The weather was hot, up in the 80's some days!
I could go on and on, but "Fantastic" sums it up. 10/10

i went to marmaris last year.. stayed at the hotel green nature, i have to say i thought the hotel was real nice and its in the prime location near the beach, shops, bars etc..only thing is there wasnt a lot of english people staying in the hotel, was everything but!nevertheless every1 was still very poliet and friendly. i dont think id go back to turkey in a rush though, even though it has some beautiful places(i dont think a lot of ppl realise how nice it is there)but the night life was just okay not great if u r a party animal!also the turkish people hassle you far too much to buy things ive never experienced it anywhere else as bad as there before, was crazy, just go so fed up of it!well this year its miami for me!
