If like us you are of our age range of 17-19 then this hotel is definately for you! during the first two weks of july myself and 9 other friends went to the serin hotel. although we agree with the other reviews that menu was minimal, it was not abismal either. there was always something to munch on and you can have as much as you want!
The rooms in the hotel we found were excellent! the air con was always great and kept the room cool. they were always kept clean from the maids and the view from the balcony was beautiful!
the bar at the hotel was FANTASTIC!! again there was not much choice in drinks but it ws the regular drinks that everyone loves! there was never a long cue to wait and the bar staff (ali and chris) were by far the coolest guys we had ever met as they kept the crowd going with their bottle flippin' and cheesey smiles! although the all inclusive bar shut at an early(ish) time of 11pm, the hotels cocktail bar opened, and you can buy cheap (and tasty) cocktails for the cheapest price you will find! which allowed you to get a few more down ya' before hitting the town (also if you buy a fishbowl for 30lira you get a t-shirt free!!)
The location of this hotel is AMAZING!! if your looking for jumpy places to party all night (like us) then walk 50 steps to the back of the hotel and come out from behind the bar at one of the raunchiest dance clubs in TOWN!
All in all this hotel is simple but Super! it has a bed and food and all you can drink for a cheap holiday price and if your like us then do you really need any more??
Cheap efficient and a GREAT location for a perfect young bunch's holiday of a LIFETIME!!!

as many people reading some of the reviews on this hotel i was a little worried as i was traveling with family an 4 children under 5 {not all mine}.we arrived in the evening about 8pm and we were asked if we would like to go and have something to eat before checking in .first impressions very small resturant but cosy and clean.ive never stayed all inclusive before but i thought it was fine .the food was a bit repetative but you would not starve.i would of liked a childs menu but my 2 girls ate well.marmaris is great and the resturants are cheep so you wont break the bank eating out a couple of times.the hotel had a few nights entertainment that lasted about half an hour but to be honest i was on holiday with family and we made our own with the help of great friends we made.as for clean ive heard horror storys about turkey. hotel spottless clean room every day fresh bedding and towel artwork,free air con and friendly staff.the all inclusive drinks were limited vodka raki gin brandy and lagar but after 11pm another bar opens with named spirits and bottles of beer and the best cocktails made by the best barman ALI.to sum this up loved my holiday my kids loved it and its all about how you make it some people just like to moan about silly things and forget how lucky they are to be on holiday.

i stayed in serin for a week with my parents and friends and we all found this hotel very outstanding. staff was friendly and bar men where very polite. one of them became very good friends with me and my friends so we will be keepin contact. i would advise people to go to this hotel if you like night life, beaches and a very good time. we are visiting again next year

Hotel very clean and staff really friendly, they cannot do enough for you.
The hotel was lacking daytime activities for the holiday makers (no entertainment team) and in the evening if you did not want to leave the hotel there was nothing to do besides drink & chat, need to find own entertainment.
We have been going fully inclusive for the last 6 years and we have never been to a hotel where you have to pay for a cooked breakfast, as it was only £2 or 5TKL it was not to bad, but there were no pool side snaxs or free ice creams for the children, usually this is included in the cost of AI, the food was very basic & repetertive, they tended to have the same meals on most days but called a different name each time, but you could always find something to eat at meal times.
Great location for the beach and only 10-15 mins walk along the beach front (path) to main town of Marmaris, would visit again but not AI maybe B&B as so cheap to eat out & about, 1-2 mins walk to beach and local bars & restaraunts.

Booked a last minute deal off the internet. The flight was with Onur Air which was not very nice (seats were small and we were cramped for space). The weather was just starting to improve at this time of the year( End of Feb) but there was still a cold breeze.
The hotel was very BASIC, don't be expecting too much. The is a TV, Bar, Swimming Pool, a brew area, safe deposit boxes, money exchange (western union in the bazaar give you the best rates. The rooms were even more basic, the showers were terrible.
But I would stay this hotel again just because of the Staff they provided a 5* service (Assistant Manager - Sami, Bar Man Ali, Waiter Adam). Really the staff bent over backwards 24/7, they will sort out anything you need and want, Sami would find out info for you (Prices, Places of anywhere you wanted to go and visit)
The location is also bang on pop right in the middle of everything. Maybe 15 meters from the beach, 200 yards from a indoor centre (Gima) which has a cinema, excellent food, shops, arcade for the kids and grown ups. the highly rated indian restuarant Taj Mahal in also just yards away (but does not open till April)
Overall there is so much to do and see that you will hardly spend time in the hotel.

the hotel was very good, can t complain for the price of the holiday AI. the staff were very friendly and helpfull weather was excellent. food was nice english food,dessert,turkish etc
5 min walk to the beach not far from the main rd.
don t forget to try the best indian restaurant TAJ MAHAL which is just round the corner from the hotel .the food is really yummy!

Having stayed in this hotel the same Dates last year as this year 2007.(1st two weeks of May) Went back, thought the food could only get better, NOT TRUE. Would recommend this hotel for location, Staff excellent, cleanliness and very freindly. The Catering definiately does not do it justice. Rate it 5 out of 10. This year an expensive holliday, having paid £400+. and then having to eat out. If you are a good food lover leave this Hotel alone.

i stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks with my mum and we both couldn't fault it ! The food was not amazing but not terrible there was always somthing to eat but some people just can't be pleased ! The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help ! The best barmen chris and ali are the best and are always cheerful and smiling ! They are both always showing off there new tricks and making the best cocktails in town !!! The rooms were cleaned everyday and the hotel overall was always spotless ! The only thing is that at around 2-3 am the power is cut off for a couple of seconds to turn everyones air-con off but if your up drinkin the best cocktails till early in the morn then if its turned on after the powercut then it will be on till the morning !
The hotel is about a minutes walk to the beach and to the clubs ! If you like to party i would recomend the beach club & bar X ! To hire a safety deposit box its quite reasonable at around £10 per week ! The hotel overall is brilliant and we are hoping to go back next year but its fully booked for july already so hopefuly we will get going again !
A boat trip would also be advised ! The mega diana is a brilliant boat and the staff are very friendly ! You get breakfast, lunch and drinks all day for only £13 an adult and half price for kids !

fifi east kilbride we stayed at the serin in june 2007 and it was great couldn't fault this place in any way. The staff were very friendly, rooms clean and evrywhere in hotels was always been cleaned. On our holiday we met a family and this was their 6 time at the serin we all had a great time. Can't wait to book up for 2008. Once you go here you'll always go back.
