FERRY MARMARIS TO RHODES

I visited the Island of Rhodes via a ferry from Marmaris. There are different Ferries and Hydrofoils that run daily. What is misleading, is they are advertised for every day, but this is not the case until the Summer season begins. I still got to Rhodes on the days I wanted, but had to go by slow Car Ferry to get there, and returned on a Ferry, with no choice of times. This threw my plans into disarray. I did want to go there & back by Catamaran.

COST OF OPEN RETURN TICKET IN 2009 was 75 Euros.
This included all port taxes, etc.

Can't find a Restaurant???

Want a nice outdoor Restaurant but can't find one, thats because they all seem to be located in the one area. If you continue walking the Esplanade, make sure you go around the corner where the Castle is located. Around here, is the Netsel Marina, and this is where Restaurant after Restaurant is located, all with waterfront views. Nice! Its also where you will find some more shops to browse around.

Icmeler is a section of Marmaris...another gulf a couple of miles away from the town. The beach is really great! Wonderfull hotels surrounded by subtropical gardens and hills covered with forests. It is a great place to have a resort holiday!

It is not an animal! It is Food!!! The sea food is fresh and really delicious! You can also ask to clean up the bones if the fish for you before served! If you dont, dont pass out when you see whole fish on your plate :-)))
