lovely clean hotel, chambermaid was worth her weight in gold.
majority of the staff friendly but found bar staff to be surly , food was sometimes a very strange mixture one day there were sprouts but nothing to go with them so they were left, the next day they were in a salad! on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 7 but eat out. the best was definately the turkish bath with full body massage and mud pack, not free but an hour and a half of pure
indulgence and relaxation it was that good we had two sessions in the week we were there.

We just came back from our 8th visit in Turkey. First time in Kervansaray.
Simply; The food was heavenly. Every day rich selection of meat.. Beef and fish and chicken/turkey, with delicious sauces... Eat as much as you like. But be careful with desserts!! Wouw it is TOO MUCH!
Rooms were clean and the staff; we liked them! ! ! Very friendly and helpful.
We had so much fun in the Pool side with the entertainment team.
And the shuttle buses were free of charge to the town and to the private beach in İcmalar.
We'll go back again in july...
My KervanSaray vacation

A very nice hotel at the outskirts of Marmaris.
Been at the hotel for the last weekend, and a very nice time.
Most people take the "All included" deal, which ain't as shiny as it may seem. You'll get 3 very nice meals a day, free soft drinks untill midnight and, free beer and vodka. You can also find a "Snack Bar" near the pool which offers fries, pizza and small burgers near the pool.
The meals are very tasty, but they tend to repeat themselfs after a few days. Desserts are very sweet and really good!
The hotel is located far from the main street of the city. You can take a taxi to the city, which will cost you about 7 USD during the day, or take the public bus (Small busses, with blue and white colors, marked with the number "3") untill the Ataturk circle. This bus will cost less than a 1 USD per passenger. You can also walk the 30 minutes walk down the hill to the city (Which is very nice after the heet of the day goes away).
Hotel stuff was very nice and friendly. They seems to take extra-care for making the hotel clean.
Turkish Night

If this is your first time in Turkey and never been to a Turkish Night, we strongly recommend you go to one! Belly Dancers, Turkish folkdance, Turkish food and wine, a lot of laugh and audience participation. The program usually starts at 20:30 and goes on till midnight.
Marmaris offers a few Turkish Night Show places. We recommend 'Kervansaray'. They are the professionals and the best show groups work with them. A lot of groovy Turkish music, good food and free wine all night long. Enjoy!

we stayed at the kervansaray hotel marmaris from 26th july till 9th august the hotel was spotless clean bedding every other day clean towels every day maid service excellent food was really presented nice lots of varieties the staff were very pleasant and helpful the entertainment staff were really good the only downfall about this hotel was the choice of alcohol drinks you could have you could only have beer vodka raki and soft drinks if you wanted any others you had to pay for them which was a bit disapointing we have been all inclusive to majorca and you could have any local spirits therenever mind they may have other peoples views on it and might do better next year still had agreat time met some wonderful people and enjoyed every minute of our holiday

I and my family have just returned from a fortnight stay at the Kervansary Hotel in Marmaris. The rooms were excellent cleaned daily and fully air-conditioned. The hotel itself was very clean and the Staff were all very friendly. The pool was excellent and with three young boys this is where we spent most of the day.
FOOD the food which was served in the restaurant was not suitable for children, there was queues for everything which meant by the time you got your meal it was cold, it was also very repetitive. The hotel had three bars one by the pool one by the restaurant and one in the main reception of the hotel. After 7pm the two bars would close and only the restaurant bar would be open. With the amount of guests that the hotel had the bar was totally inadequate to serve as often you would have to queue to get served.
All Inclusive, this miss lead us as we thought that all drinks and ice-creams were part of the All Inclusive that we paid for. The only drinks that were offered were Larget Tuborg (not the best) Vodka and Raki, if you fancied anything else this was at an extra charge as was the ice-cream.
The location is about 30 mins from the main strip in marmaris and with three young children this was too far to walk in the heat. Although there was a free bus to front if you could get on it. The entertainment in the day was excellent with plenty to do for both children and adults, but the evening entertainment on occasions was not suitable for children. On the whole we did have a good time but there is defiantly room for improvement at this hotel.

Having stayed in Marmaris two years ago at the Pinneta park Deluxe, which I might add, was brilliant, my wife jayne and my two kids, Molly and Elliot returned to Marmaris for a weeks holiday. We were recommnded the Kervansaray as excellent, by my wifes mum and dad. Right ok, were should i begin?? The hotel is nice enough as are the rooms. The food is ok but it is sooo repetative, meaning, they serve the same food over and over again. Fish, Chicken and Beef Stew. There was always salad though and this made a change. The breakfast was very poor, mainly eggs, and this white sausage which tasted like rancid hot dog sausages. The cereal wasnt much better either. If you want a propper cooked breakfast, then eat out as Sarahs, just down the road.
It wasn't too long before I realized another issue. There is only two bars in the hotel. The first one being situated just outside of the resteraunt and this is the smallest of the two, and when I say small, I mean small. The other bar is at the side of the pool and this is closed at night. Yet another downside was the fact that there is only ONE toilet in the hotel apart from the toilets in the rooms that is. So if there is a que and which I found there was on several occasions, you have to return to your hotel room if you are desparate. The activites ok but nothing brilliant. The pool is good though and boasts two slides, which by five year old son Elliot spent most of his time sliding down. The slides open around 10 am and close again at noon then reopen at 2 pm then close around 4pm ish.
I have left the worst bit til last. I want everyone who is thinking of staying there to be very weary of this. The safes in the rooms are not soo secure. We had over £100 taken out of the safe. When we went to complain, we were told that this simply could not happen because your own code you put in, no one would know apart from you. We knew this was cock and bull becuase another guest we spoke to had forgotten the number and a member of the hotel staff opened the safe for them by entering a code. We never found out and never got the money back and are having to go through our holiday insurance to cover the loss butr no one at the hotel could help. All I can say is that someone at the hotel certainly helped themselves.
Do yourself a favour and look at other hotels other than this one. Marmaris is a fantastic place to stay and is well worth holidaying there, JUST NOT AT THIS HOTEL
Bad choice

I stayed there with my husband and daugthter. We were schocked when we got our room - it was really old and it seemed that past 10 years there have been no improvements - furniture was old, furniture fabric was with holes and discoloured, curtains - the same. Towels also with holes... Doors of wardrobe were broken.
The only good thing was food:)
The only pool attraction - slide - was open only couple hours a day.
I would not recomend to stay there!!!!

i stayed at the hotel in marmaris for 2weeks with my family and friends i must say this was the best hotel i have ever stayed in food was good drinks were great good entertainment and the staff were lovley best holiday iv ever been on and carnt wait to go back again this august 5******* great

Me & my boyfriend stayed in this hotel and I can honestly say its one of the best hotels ive ever stayed in! The pool is huge slides are good but are only on a set time off the day, sun beds are comfy too and there is plenty so you dont need to get up early in the morning to get one if uve had a late night =)
The people who work there are really friendly if u get the chance speak 2 lavant he's one of the entertainers and he's absolutely brilliant! theres also Ali g..but he one of them who loves themselfs! & Gerkhan who works at respection he's lovely and One downfall is the food, theres not much choice its ither chicken or rice we did eat out a few times as it got abit boring but we lived. Beer is good and stops at 12.00am
Dont eat the salad they put way 2 much oil in and they put there water in it and i was speaking to a few people who were getting sent to hospital with upset stomachs, & as my boyfriend got a ear infection from the pool water he got sent to the hospital and they put his on a drip!!! Try to avoid it and just go to the cemist as its way cheaper they tryed getting 80lr out off him but they didnt!
As were only 17 and its great for teenagers at 11 oclock they take you down to bar street were all the clubs and bars are and bring you back at 2.30am its a free bus down and back.
Rooms are massive and the maids come everyday to change towels and bedding there great!
Overall it was a fab holiday we even love it that much were going back in October. I really would recomend it to family's and couples xx

Located 2 blocks off from the beach, and the main street of Marmaris shopping precinct, markets, bars, restaurants, cafes and clubs. Rooms are medium in size and although some rooms are a little overrun still in good condition. Decorated in bright pastel colours, all rooms have private bathroom facilities, airconditioning, satelite tv, mini bar, ISD telephone and private balcony. hope this helps...
