Nightlife in Marmaris.
At night we usually went to a pub or something for a drink. We never went to a disco, so I can't tell you anything about that. We just liked having a drink somewhere and walked around a bit as there was always a lot to do at night.
The Bazaar is quite big and has quite a few interesting shops. Quite a few Leather ware shops, as well as the usual souvenirs, carpets, turkish delight, turkish coffee, jewellery, herbs, spices, teas, ceramics, perfumes, watches, clothing, pipes & belly dancing costumes. Also available here is the Local Honey which is produced on the Datca Peninsula.
It is undercover and worth a stroll around, you may find something different here because of the local products.
Remember, there are lots of shops in Marmaris, so have an idea of the prices before you buy and barter!
Marmaris is a popular cosmopolitan resort in the south-west coast of Turkey.
A wide promenade, a large yacht harbour and a castle can be explored.
Don't miss out on some great shopping too in the Bazzar.
