Strange hotel

Spent 2 weeks in this cheap and quite strange hotel in May 2003. We felt like hostages from the beginning as the only way out of the hotel was through the bar/restaurant and sure enough, everytime we tried to leave "Eddie" (the main figure in the bar area!) spent 10-15 minutes trying to persuade us to stay and eat at their restaurant, often with a bit of physical intimidation! He also tried his best to sell us carpets and jewellry. The hotel is quite crappy to be honest but it?s cheap as hell and after a while we got quite used to the odd behaviour of Eddie and his colleagues. Includes breakfast served by the pool, not very good eating, consists of eggs, tomatoes and cucumber. The pool is small but decent and the hotel sits on the beach which can be a bit crowded. Guess it is OK to stay here if your budget and expectations are both limited.
