Sun Maris Hotel
This is my first time visiting Turkey, we are staying at the Sun Maris Hotel, can anyone tell me anything about it, I think it is quite basic and central, but any other info would be good.
This is my daughters sixteenth birthday treat, just me and her for a girlie holiday, so any tips would be appreciated! Thanks

First thing is to watch the Turkish lads, they can be a bit pushy at times.

the turkish lads you talked about; lots of them are not turkish but kurdish.. Its a pity that marmaris is full of them. They're coming from the east side of the country where there is no girl...
Sun Maris is a cheap hotel, your expectations should be minimum. But suitable for foreign students and young people..
any info on marmaris
ive just booked a holiday to marmaris and would highly appreciate any information on this place. also my hotel is called "Sun Maris hotel Marmaris" and i wondered whether any body knows how far this is from "Bar Street"

well where do i start..........marmaris is very lively at night and quiet in the day. the turks their are friendly but do hassle you alot. they are keen to teach you turkish if you want to learn it, they will help you with anything that you are stuck with ie. excursions. dont book any boat trips with travel agents ie. thomas cook because they chage around 40 pound when you can get boat trips on the beach front for 10 pound.

if you go on google, the type in sun maris app/hot which ever one it is it will give you info on it

You can get just about anywhere in Marmaris in about 30 minutes or less, it's a very small town. The taxi's are very cheap as well.

ive been there 2 weeks before.. its a good hotel for youngsters.. sun maris is very near the city center and beach.. bar street is about 15 minutes on foot..
