Hi folks!
Were heading off to Marmaris in Turkey for the first two weeks in October and I was wonderingbwhat the weather and temperatures waere like and if all the the other things were still on?
It would be fantastic if anyone could give me some valuable information before I leave.

October is sort of end of season but most things are still open (particularly during the first half of month) and it’s still warm enough to swim and stuff.
I’ve been early in the season (first half of April) and it was quiet (which means a little less hassle and people in local bars have a bit more time for you) but I got run over by a drunk driver and spent a month in the local hospital full of morphine so my knowledge of the world outside is limited:
I’ve no doubt the old Marmaris hands will be in with tons of valuable advice soon, in the meantime cheer yourself up with the weather report below.

Just adjacent to Marmaris bay on the right side there is another bay called Icmeler... Also the area is called the Icmeler region..
Icmeler is the location where major Hotels of Marmaris are located.. The bay is covered by the hotels and their activities..
In summer time it is always crowded and full. Though it doesnt seem on the picture the area has a very nice environment and a wonderful landscape..
This litttle canteen is situated outside the indoor bazzar near the statue. If you walk in to the bazzar, about halfway in turn right and walk outside. This little canteen will be on that road.
This is a brilliant place if your on a budget, kebabs were only a pound. (YES!! 1 POUND)
You can either get your kebab in bread or a wrap.
Different from the kebabs in the UK but this place is a must.
Try it cause you'll enjoy it. I love the chicken kebabs from here!!
