rate of lira?
hi
i am travellin to marmaris in 2 weeks and my plan is to bring bank of england notes and change them into lira over there as rate over here is not good! does anyone know the rate in marmaris at minute for english money to be changed into lira??

you may get a better rate using your atm card
there should be places in marmaris where you can do this
takes the hassle out of keeping money on you unnecessarily also

rate changes daily here in Turkey.but the best way is to change it in a bank in Turkey.by this way you can get the best rates.do not change it in a jewellery or else. ;)

change offices rate is between 1 pound is 2,30-2,35.best way to change bank..

Rate is currently about 2.3. I always ask the change office if they can do me a better rate and I usually get a bit better than advertised.

FOOD FOOD FOOD!!!!
In Marmaris there are Restaurants or Cafe everywhere be it on the main street or down a tiny back ally, and most of the food from the restaurants is great but you have to be careful in some places. If there is one kind of food you u like you will deffantlyfind it in Marmaris. The restaurants there have huge veriaty of food from Asian too African, from Trukish to British. Overall for eating out Marmaris is exallent and i would always go Self Catering never Full or Half Board. I love all food exept fish dishers but my Favourite dish i have ever had in Marmaris is the Iskander Kebab Special from a restaurant called the Prestage.
