Turtles bar and Bar X are both located on the beach front. They are both easy to find. Turtles bar is mainly a kareoke bar but they also have competitions. When we were there the girls had to stand on the bar and shake your ass to the music and the winner wins a turtles t-shirt and then the lads had to get on the bar and dance. Its gr8 fun dancing on the bar we were alwayz on it. Also the only turkish men allowed in there are the staff.
Bar X is small but top you can also dance on the bar. The music is mainly dance. If you are lookin 4 a turkish fella Bar X is the place 2 be. The seaside club is brill 2 itz quite big and has poles 4 u 2 dance around.Also there are swings in there to mes about with. I didnt come across any where that has a dress code. you can wear what eva u want 2.

Ataturk statue

The statue of Kemal Ataturk is the basic meeting point in Marmaris. Ataturk (1881-10/11/1938) was the founder of the Republic of Turkey and its first president. When I was there many people were protesting in front of the statue with national flags etc

As you face the statue you can then walk left to the Marina or right towards Icmeler.

Shopping! And that's about it...

As we stayed in Rhodes, we took the opportunity to go for a day to Marmaris for shopping and fun. 1 out of 2 ain't bad, there was a lot of shopping, but it wasn't that much fun. The trip was an organized tour, so the first 3 places was visits to sponsored shops. The only place that could recemble fun was at the market. Lots of fake stuff, and cheap!

The boat ride to Marmaris took about an hour, and was OK. They sell beer.
