Hop onto the ferry/catamaran and visit Greece :)

If you have a long enough holiday in Marmaris, and don't want ot lay on the beach all the time, a good idea is to make a day-trip to the island of Rhodes (Rodos) which belongs to Greece. It can be done well as a day trip. The old town of Rhodes is very charming.
The comfortable catamaran trip takes only 50 minutes to one direction.
You can sit down and watch out from the windows. There is a bar inside, selling soft drinks, beer, snacks and sweets.
Information about the boat trips to Rhodes is easily available in every major hotel, also elsewhere.
Schedule and prices: a day-trip costs 45 euros per person (30 eur return ticket + 15 eur port tax). The ferry leaves Marmaris passenger harbour at 09:00 a.m. and back from Rhodes at 16:30 p.m.
If you want to stay overnight in Rhodes, a one way trip will cost more but it's possible. The price is then around 70 eur (return, per person, incl. taxes).

Take the car and fall in love with the scenery
by WanderingFinn
If you have a rented car, drive the narrowing road towards Knidos. Already on the way there you see many interesting things like pretty local houses decorated with flowers, tiny fisherman villages, donkeys on the road.
Sometimes you just have to stop the car in a safe place and go wonder the nature, the landscape, the scenery. Blue sea is glittering in the sunlight which never ends in Turkey. White sailing boats floating still on the blue sea.
Sometimes you look back and wonder if you really drove that way here. The road is somewhere very narrow, and it climbs up the hills. Nearer Knidos two cars hardly can meet on the road. But people drive slowly there.
