NICE PLACE TO STAY AT A GREAT PRICE
you have the option to stay in a normal room or a cave. there's a computer with internet available. there's a rooftop dining area from where you get a great view of the countryside. all in all a nice place to stay - you'll be out seeing the sites most of the time anyway.
Unique Quality: located just down the road from the otogar (bus station), it's a great place to stay if you're on a budget. the staff is very friendly and can cook really well!

Cool Digs
The hotel is centrally located to all facilities,tour agencies, restaurants & bus companies. Only a short walk from the bus stop, 5 minutes. Is the closest accommodation to the famous Goreme Open Air museum. Has a rooftop terrace that overlooks the town, early in the morning you can see the air ballons lift above the town.
I had a nice comfortable double bed - very warm to snuggle into & shower / toilet. Shower was hand held & you need to run the water before it gets hot. If still cold the owner will change from solar to gas heated = very hot & nice.
In summer a fan is provided for air conditioning.
Spotlessly clean room & linen & overall the hotel was in very good order. Lovely breakfast served on the terrace - recommend the French toast!
Staff are very helpful & if you want they can book tours for you, just speak to Ramazan the owner.
I paid 20 lira which is $20 AUD (Australian Dollars) per night. NOTE: This is shoulder season, usually more in Peak season.

Be a caveman
The Paradise Pension is one of Cappadocia cave hotels. Some room are carved into the rock, like the local inhabitants were doing for centuries.

A piece of paradise
We came across its name on one of the guides my friend had - called them up in Istanbul to reserve a room. I had no idea of what to expect...
We arrived in Göreme bright and early... Asked around and got to the pension easily - it's a 5 min walk from the bus station...
Little did I know that this place has been a firm favourite amongst backpackers and other independent travellers.
I really miss waking up early in the morning and looking at the scenery from the balcony - it was always a peaceful moment...
Unique Quality: The rooms were clean and staff was really excellent. The included breakfast had a surprisingly good variety - french toast, spicy scrambled eggs, traditional turkish breakfast. Also BBQ at nights had been delicious.
However, I think it is more because of the owner, Mehmet Bozlak, that staying at this pension has been an amazing experience for us. He and his staff (mostly his relatives) are so genuine, so sincere, you feel like you have been friends for a long time.
Mehmet has given us a great deal of advice on what to do, which routes to take, where to hire from. And friends my advice to you: -always go with what he says. The only time we didn't listen to him was renting a car from this shady place against his suggestion (they had better models) and did I ever regret that? Yes, big time :)

Goreme's most hospitable hostal
I recommend this hotel/pension with no doubt.
It was a true Paradise
It has outstanding customer service and personnel that speak english very well so they are clear and reliable.
Their terrace has an incredible view of the city and valley and it is well located, close to everything.
Breakfast buffet included the most fresh delicious vegetables, cappadoccian cheese, eggs to ones request etc.
Unique Quality: The pension has rooms of all prices and all types. from luxury ample rooms to basic cave man's rooms, even pigeon hole rooms.
The customer service is excellent and the rooms are very clean and confortable. The prices are less expensive than others in the area and the pension accomodates to your needs.
The pension provided an outstanding service by giving the guests rides from and to the bus station with their luggages and aid them with information and trip arrangements.
