Nice Cave Hotel in Goreme

Most of the guests are east-asians (Japanese, Koreans, etc..) maybe because it's winter, though western tourists arrive every now & then.

A nice place with very nice owner (Bekir), friendly staff (they even have an english-speaking Japanese staff), good food at their small terrace restaurant with a nice view of the valleys.

5-minute walk to the town centre below, means, if you're coming from the town centre back to the hotel, you have to endure a little walking going alittle up the hill where the hotel is, no sweat though. The owner took us to the bus station by car when we left for our next destination.

Triple Room was a neat cave with comfortable and quaintly decorated beds and sheets. Big wooden cabinet. There are electric outlets for recharging cameras and cams. Ample lighting but not really dark, the battery-operated Glade air freshener spurts out scents every now and then so the room smells really good.

The only discomfort is - the clogged bathroom, and everytime we take a shower the water won't run down the drain, which we never did complained as we only stayed for 2 nights. We told Mr. Bekir before we left and he told us that we should have told him. Well, they were too nice to complain.

You don't have to eat out as the food in their terrace resto is really delicious. Laundry service available. You can also book all your tours of Cappdocia with the hotel.

Unique Quality: All Cave Rooms, nice terrace view, friendly people.
