Kampüs Otel: Nice and friendly hotel
As I'm not used to staying in luxury hotels, I might be rating hotels that other people think of as normal too high. Well, for me some of them are a luxury, and Kampüs Otel certainly belongs to that group. Located conveniently on the campus of Sakarya Üniversitesi, the hotel offers well-kept and well-equipped rooms with a friendly interior. WLAN is available, as are a TV, 24hr reception service, and much more. The staff is nice and helpful: On my departure day, I had to leave very early, before the official opening time of the breakfast room. Nonetheless, it was no problem to ask for a breakfast - the staff just "reactivated" the cook who began working a little earlier and offered me the usual breakfast buffet! Something like that would hardly be possible in a German hotel...
Perhaps the only drawback is the relatively bad English of the staff. The receptionists will probably understand you, but the staff from the restaurant (see another tip) will have a very hard time.
