This is a bar/restaurant located in Al Ain Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. They have Karaoke, live music, and Filipino food (and beer). A trio plays live music for about 30 minutes than takes off for 30 minutes to rest and allow patrons to sing karaoke. Mostly pop music. The musicians are good. Food is not the best and watch out that they don't screw you with the prices. I ate here one night and ordered an item that was 35 AED but when the bill came they charged me 50 AED. They showed me another menu with the "new" prices. I showed them the discrepancy but they would not give in to their mistake and charged me with the higher price. Wow! San Miguel beer.
Great Italian Food
by try2xl about Il Pallazo
Come evening time, i had this great desire to take my wife and kids out for a good italian meal. Well, i browsed google as usual and zoomed in on IL PALAZZO. This nice quaint restaurant is located in 'AL AIN PALACE HOTEL'. The ambience is just fantastic, the waitresses are smiling and full of cordiality. The red wine was really fantastic and up to the mark. Or so my wife said. I sipped on my Kiwi fresh juice.
Soup was a bit of a washout. The wild mushroom soup didn't really taste italian and didn't go down well. However the Pizza and Risotto (with veggies) more than made up for it.
It was someone's birthday and we all got a piece of Tiramisu cake on each table. The cake was yummmmmmmmmm delicious.
Arvind and Vickram (my two kids) were quite well behaved and nice.
All in all, a very very good evening. Il Palazzo is very well recommended for the ambience and the food.
Aah, last but not the least, the bill came to 180 dirhams, this included a 20 dirham service charge and 10 dirham tip. Pretty decent for the evening i should say. Pizza Vegetariano

Some interesting things about Abu Dhabi......... most popular tourist attractions are Shopping centres, sheikh zayed grand mosque, Emirites palace hotel, the Cornish.
The 15,056 glass panels that make up the outer shell of the Yas Hotel are looked after by a team of 15 abseiling window cleaners. it takes them 1 month to clean the exterior.
Emirates Palace has 1,002 chandeliers. the heaviest weighs 2,5 tons.
I think the cities best schwarma is at LEBONESE FLOWER RESTAURANT.The worlds most expensive licence plate was sold at the Emirites Palace on Feb 16, 2008. Bearing the single diget 1 the plate sold for 14.3 USD.
The oldest building in the city is the former royal palace, qasr Al hosn , 250 yrs old.
The oldest hotel still standing is the Al Ain palace Hotel ( 1967)

Both hotels are located in Abu Dhabi, taxi fare would not be much :-)
Having the money you can buy anything in Abu Dhabi :-)

by AbuDhabi
Both hotels located at Abu Dhabi Corniche. I think it will cost you about 4 AED from Al Ain Palace Hotel to the Emirates Palace by public taxi.
The question is: what do you want to buy? Abu Dhabi is full of goods.
