General Hotel Information

General comments on hotels in Abu Dhabi:
1. They are expensive.
2. The good ones will have all the amenities you may needs and then some. They are good.
3. One of the worlds best hotels, the 7 star rated, Emirates Palace Hotel, is in Abu Dhabi. Great if you can afford it.
4. The cheaper hotels sometimes have their bars flooded with prostitutes. If they start bothering you leave for they never stop.
5. Look / ask for Hotel Apartments for a room with a kitchen if you want a self help situation.
6. There are no guest houses or backpacker lodges that I know of. It is all hotels.
Handkerchief or some cloth

If you are in Abu Dhabi during summer or season transition, keep a handkerchief handy. Strong winds blowing sand would be quite common and sandstorm is a nightmare. Having a handkerchief or cloth at least helps you to filter out the sand from entering your nose or mouth.
Something Red...

The name of this shop is red tag but the product clothes are not red but obviously its the tag, the shop took my attentions when we were walking along the street nearby our Hotel the girls clothes were very attracting though I have 3 girls i really love to shop something like these for them. for my girls dresses each item it cost 15$ below
Abu Dhabi Airport

I like this airport although it's crowded but when you are getting bored waiting for the flight, you can sit there and look people walking around you, they are people from typical gulf region, long white cloth covering whole body, I even saw a woman covering herself from head to feet with black cloth, worse than those in Afghenistan, they also cover their eyes! Yet I guess it's not polite if I try to take a pic of her! That's obvious!
Italian Restaurant

Another decent Italian option in Abu Dhabi is Prego. The spacious restaurant serves sophisticated Italian food as well as delicious pizzas. It offers indoor seating and for clement weather, an outdoor terrace with beautiful beach views. Prego serves alcohol.
