Hello,
I was going to go to Dubai in August for holidays (yes, I have heard it will be hot, h hot, hot...but can't change leave times and really wanted to see this part of the world. I've just found Abu Dhabi and realise it's not far from Dubai and looks superb (and yes, a bit cheaper than Dubai I think). Questions:
a) Are the beaches really nice - my main priority is great beach and sea good for swimming in (when the sun allows it :-))
b) Sheraton Abu Dhabi I was thinking of.....any one know it or could let me know how the beach is
c) What is the best method of getting there from Dubai - without costing a fortune - taxi?? Any firm in particular - can I advance book.
Apologies for all the questions - safe and fun travels all.
The two places don't compare - go to Dubai, it's much, much better.
a) I can't compare the beaches, but there are some nice beaches in Abu Dhabi.
b) The area near Sheraton is under construction, I suggest to chose Abu Dhabi Intercontinental Hotel. The beach there is amazing.
c) The cheaper method is to take a bus from the station. It will cost you around 20 Dhs only.
My Suggestion is to go to both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
