Mirfa Hotel: Quiet place away from city crowds

We stayed there in December 2008. Although it was too windy to use the pool, we still spent some nice time outside - walking in the gardens and along the beach. Nice, peaceful hotel located on its own peninsula, surrounded by gardens and sea.

Pros:
Rooms are spacious and well-kept.
Reception and restaurant staff are very friendly and useful.
Gardens and pool area are just lovely.
4 tennis courts (not bad for remote 4 star hotel!).
Food in the restaurant is good, they also have shisha cafe (outside) and pub (indoor).
Perfect break for those who travel from Dubai/Abu Dhabi to Jebel Dhanna or Saudi.

Cons:
Hotel needs some exterior renovation.
Beach definitely requires more cleaning.
Not suitable for long stay: there is absolutely nothing around.

Opinion of Price: about average
