5-Star beach luxury where you'd least expect it

This is one of those hotels that is luxurious, modern, and yet the staff manage to make you feel comfortable and "right at home" as soon as you walk into the lobby. No snobby looks or dissapproving whispers here... the Ajman Kempinski standard of customer service is genuine and well-known all throughout the United Arab Emirates.
I love sitting at the "Cafe Kranzler" in the cooler winter months; overlooking the gorgeous beach and the gardens with their very own flock of beautiful peacocks. The Indian restaurant is exceptionally good, and all rooms and leisure facilities are always kept in top condition.
Unique Quality: > All rooms & suites in the main building have sea view balconies.
> The "cabanas" have terrace and pool view
> Air-conditioning, In-room bar, TV, safe, hair dryer, laundry / dry cleaning service.
> One room for physically handicapped persons
> 24 hours room service, Multi-lingual staff (many German speakers)
> Internet available in all rooms.
> That genuinely friendly style of 5-star service that has been sufficated from most luxury hotels in Dubai, but is healthy and intact here!
SUMMER 2007 REFURBISHMENT NOTICE!
The schedule of the works is as follows:
15 April – 26 May 2007: Floor 3 (Corridor refurbishment).
12 May – 19 August 2007: Floor 5 (Corridor & rooms refurbishment).
22 May – 02 July 2007: Floor 7 & 8 (Corridor refurbishment).
07 July – 30 September 2007: Floor 6 (Corridor & rooms refurbishment).
14 July – 19 August 2007: Floor 4 (Corridor refurbishment).
During the mentioned periods, no visual disturbance is expected as the areas affected will be closed off. Works that will create audible disruption will be restricted to the hours of 10:00 to 17:00.

Best Hotel in Ajman

Actually I haven’t stayed in this hotel. But I know that it’s the most comfortable hotel in Ajman. We came there to take several tourists who had to join our group.
While we were waiting for them I took an advantage of the situation and entered the hotel through the modern Arabic-style arches into the polished marble atrium lobby with palm trees. Persian carpets adorned the walls. Guests relaxed on yellow and green bamboo-trimmed chairs and on the terrace overlooking the beach. It looked very luxurious.
Best of all I liked the Russian flag over this 5-stars hotel, haha!

The Laguna Beach Club comprises of a modern fitness gym with health club and aerobic studio. A range of sports facilities such as bowling, water sports and diving is available on site. The Laguna Spa and Softouch Ayurveda Centre offer relaxing massages and beauty treatments from head to toe.
The hotel also offers meeting space for 5 – 1,200 persons in board and meeting rooms or the grand ballroom with a permanent stage. Furthermore, culinary theme nights and barbeque at the beach, cocktail receptions in the art gallery, Oriental dining in an Arabic fort and team building activities such as Beach Olympic Games can be arranged. Daily shuttle bus to Dubai and Sharjah" When joining the fitness club a full test is given to measure muscle tone etc, and the coach then tailors the exercises to your needs.

My daughter was a member of the Ajman Kempinski Hotel gym , so while she was working out, I would swim to my heart's content in the crystal- clear pool. When I wanted a change I would walk down the white sandy beach, 500 metres long, and have a dip in the sea.
The sun is very strong, even when overcast, and the white sand reflects the sun too, so slather on plenty of sun screen or you'll get burnt as I was.
How to get to Ajman

Ajman the smallest of the seven emirates lies just eight kilometers north of Sharjah. Many roads lead to and from Ajman from both Sharjah, Dubai, and Umm al Quwain including Emirates Road.
Driving into Ajman city from Sharjah brought us to the Corniche with a fine sandy beach on one side and the city spread out on the other. Then the way lied along the Arabian Gulf Road up to the Kempinski Ajman Hotel which is located on the small peninsula at the Ajman Khor. Then we went to the Old city where the Ajman Museum is located in an old fort in the central square. Then we came back to the E11 Emirates Highway where we saw the Sheikh Zayed Ajman Mosque from aside.
