We stayed here on our 2nd visit. As it's centrally located you can expect to pay a premium price.
The hotel was stylish and clean. Our bedroom was small but again, quite stylish and clean. The view from or room was onto waste ground with nothing to see, mind, the window was so small it was difficult to see anything anyway!
Considering that we were there in 2000 we paid a high price for an average 4 star hotel. It is rated 5 star but compared to the Meridian it doesn't come close in quality.
A lot of business people seem to stay here an so it doesn't really cater for tourists apart from a top floor night club/disco. To walk to the beach is an agonising 30 minute walk in blistering heat so don't even think about trying. A car is a must to get anywhere from this hotel, unless you like sitting in tiny coffee bars doing nothing.
I am afraid to say that as a tourist this hotel did not strike an accord with me and is more suited to those on business.
Unique Quality: No pool, no views, small restaurent, dull. But, if you want somewhere clean, friendly and quite stylish and dont mind paying over the top prices then this hotel is fine... just not for me.
Directions: Straight down the main street. Do a 360 degree turn at the roundabout. The hotel is on your right just prior to the next roundabout.
