looking for a true friend

by abhi16

Yes , I reached Sharjah 8 days back. Since then after my office hours only talking to empty walls in my flat. Just going lonely to movie or Mall is very boring??
So any body for friendship with me for a great time??

Travel Tips for Sharjah

Church Area

by Kuznetsov_Sergey

Coming back home I found out that when I visit the Church area in Sharjah I could see a lot of non Muslim Churches. Among them:
Sharjah Marthoma Church,
Sharjah Armenian Church,
St. Martin’s Anglican Church,
St Marys Jacobite Soonoro Church,
SIAG Sharjah Union Church,
St Michael Catholic Church.

Sharjah Heritage Museum

by xiquinho

Part of the same complex as Al Hisn Fort, the Heritage Museum comprises the Al-Naboodah family house, the Al-Midfaa house - both fine examples of traditional Emirates architecture - and the old Al-Arsah Souk, one of the most pleasant souks in the city.

Throughout the complex you will find traditional Arabian costumes, jewellery, furniture and even games are on display or for sale. However, equally interesting are the buildings themselves which are rare examples in the city of well-kept traditional architecture of the region.

Sharjah Archiology Museum

by Doctor38

This is a well organized museum. The exhibits are labeled in Arabic and English. There are few halls. One is for the period before 3000 BC; another one is for the period 1300 to 3000 BC and a third hall for 600 AD to 1300 BC. Very worth vesiting.

Admission is covered under the general ticket that purchase to see most all SHarjah museums

The hidden treasure...

Located next to Dubai, this beautiful emirate is more authentic than the big cities of the Emirates. I loved the city; the port, the old heritage area. I really enjoyed the time i spent in this interesting place.
